Rocket Baby Bakery Reviews

Talk about a great breakfast sandwich and a great regular sandwich! This is a great local bakery with fresh bread and pastries, coffee, and sandwiches. We have enjoyed the ham or bacon with egg breakfast sandwich as well as the turkey club a couple of times and both are well worth the trip. They also have really good orange juice. Definitely worth checking out and for much more than the few things that we have tried.

Taste: 5/5. When I visited I had the egg and cheese and blueberry cream cheese danishes which were both delicious. All of their baked goods looked wonderful and they had a better balance of sweet and savory options than other bakeries that I’ve been to.
Service: 5/5. While their inside dining was closed due to staffing issues, the seating next door and the surrounding area were both cute. Their staff were kind and even provided recommendations.
Vibe: 5/5. Although I’m sure being able to enter the bakery would have improved my experience, there’s nothing wrong with a walk-up local bake shop.
Cost: 4/5. The food that we purchased here was delicious, but could have been cheaper on a dollar-to-calorie basis. Not somewhere I’d eat at every weekend, but perfect for a once-in-a-while treat.

Nice people, nice looking, and most importantly: nice tasting. Just a Nice bake shop.

I was visiting and staying just down the road. I walked here and grabbed breakfast 2 days in a row and loved it! They have a great coffee and baked goods! They know what they’re doing here. The staff was friendly and they were well organized!

The absolute best bakery!!!!! The staff is just phenomenal and the pastries are sinful. Keep me away from that almond croissant!!!!!! It’s beyond amazing!

Make sure you try the vegetarian’s rule sandwich, Salsa Bagel with cilantro, lime and jalapeño cream cheese and the Tosa sourdough too!!! All so good!

It’s just always so good. My favorites are the Tosa sourdough, honey wheat, and chocolate croissants. I’d be even happier if they’d bring back the double chocolate croissant! Always nice people and high quality baked deliciousness.

Walk up window was quick! I had a death by chocolate brownie. Super chocolatey, but the top frosting separated from the brownie. It came straight out of the fridge so it was still cold

First time here but will not be the last. Fantastically fresh yummy bakery treats, breads, etc. Only open 8a-2p every day and you may order ahead online until noonish, but order as early as possible because popular selections sell out. Whether you go in or pickup at the window or curbside, they’ve got you covered. Huge outside seating area when the weather is ok. Beware: The croissants are freaking huge… Two servings from each… Fresh, flaky, buttery goodness! I suggest the plain, double chocolate or brown butter (latter has a brown butter custardy filling & brown butter icing. see pic ). And you’ll want to take home their unique breads. Sourdough multigrain is good & hearty, but could use a stronger San Francisco sourdough flavor. Best bakery by far north of 94, easy to get to on North Ave in Tosa.

So I have been saying for months…years even… that I need to try this place… obviously this is a review of their to-go operation. First time visitor and I will be back.

I was in the area and had a…’its right there… stop…’ moment. You need lunch… what else are you going to do for lunch… I justify things pretty easily when the sun is out and I’m not working.

So I park my car on a side street walk through this cute park with tables and seating… to the window where people are ordering food. There’s a sign where to start the line… line heads west from the front…. simple enough but people also apparently wait for their food/drinks here.

I get up there order my food. (Menu is also online… you can order on line and go pick up too) Sit in the park… less than 10 min later my name is called over a PA… I get my food and trot home.

I’m currently one handed – my left hand is casted.
My first impression of the uncut sandwich I opened was that it was scant… had a… okay where is the stuff moment… this doesn’t look like the stories they post on social media…. BUT after the first bite… the flavors were undoubtedly there… the salad was refreshing and I really enjoyed the turkey club. I added my one handedness as a factor… because the sandwich didn’t fall apart…. completely intact the entire time allowing me to enjoy.

So with that …. I will return to try more dope things from this cool business.

What a great bakery! Donuts, breads, macaroons…lots of other choices! COFFEE!!Fast and friendly service during morning hour. Tables inside to sit and enjoy your donut and coffee. Love the outdoor patio!! Planning to come back on a nice evening to enjoy the cool picnic tables and benches.

NOT your budget bakery depending on what you want to buy; but a great place for a special treat.

And… there’s a bicycle pump/fix station right in front. Never seen one of those before. How thoughtful

I can’t imagine a better bread for a tuna melt than their pain de mie… And absolutely the best baguette in Wisconsin… Croissant as well… Actually, everything is really well made!
