I give 3 stars because the yeast Donuts and fritters are very good! The reason they get such a low rating though is because the cake Donuts are garbage! All of them. Both the chocolate and the vanilla cake donuts are super dense, dry, and leave a strong aftertaste of old dirty grease in your mouth.

The maple bacon yeast donut is another one to avoid! The “bacon” is just super hard smoked bacon bits. The smokey flavor completely overpowers you and you’ll be left with a sugary & liquid smoke taste in your mouth absolutely terrible!

My husband said the woman working there wasn’t friendly either, but it could’ve been because she seemed to be working by herself as she kept having to run to the back and answer the phone during the short time he was in there.

My advice to the owners would be to get rid of the items that aren’t good and focus on the ones that are! Variety is nothing if the quality isn’t there! Someone who has never been here might only get the nasty donuts and will never come back to try the good ones they missed!

First time here. Lady who served me was friendly. I got some donuts and a cup of coffee which I didn’t like. Donuts didn’t look too fresh im not sure why. Great customer service for me but food however was disappointed. I might have to get something else next time.

Best donuts around. They have blueberry and cherry fritters. I tried their vanilla chai frappe the other day…it’s my new favorite. If you are ever near Granny’s I would recommend stopping by.

I absolutely love Granny’s donuts in Thomasville. So I just assumed the one in High Point would be of the same quality.
The store itself needs to be cleaned. The tables, chairs, floors, just everything needs a good cleaning. And sadly the donuts were not fresh at all and the coffee I ordered was burnt tasting. I will definitely be going back to the one in Thomasville.

I recently went to purchase some doughnuts to treat my family. I personally don’t eat them because it’s been my experience that they’ve been too greasy, too heavy or too cakes. When I entered the shop I was greeted right away and was offered help but insisted I just wanted to look and see what they had to offer. The young lady went back to work and stated just let me know if you need anything. I proceeded to look and couldn’t make up my mind so I started asking questions. She was so patient and helpful. I decided to go against my no doughnut eating policy and try one on the way home and all I can say is……. Wow, Wow, Wow!! I can definitely understand what the fuss is all about. These doughnuts are heavenly! I think I ate one in about four bites. Then I had another and another. So much for the no doughnut policy. They are so light and airy and fresh you can’t even tell you’ve eaten them. They are absolutely delicious. Too bad I only bought one dozen that day, my family might have stood a chance . The shop itself was nice and clean. You can eat inside or takeout. There are a variety of drinks that can go along with your pastries or just by themselves. I took a picture of the menu so hopefully that will help. There is handicapped parking and a ramp for access. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who can appreciate the finer things of life especially in smaller packages. But be forewarned. Prepare to eat more than you except to. I certainly did. And I don’t even like doughnuts .

Good prices for the half dozen of both regular and speciality donuts. They keep well for about 3 days however specifically the chocolate cake ones need to be eaten same day. The cinnamon roll is my favorite. Friendly and attentive staff as well. A really great place to stop by in town. WAY better than Krispy Kreme

If Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts had a baby these doughnuts would be them!! Perfect amount of glaze and doughnut texture. Please also get the doughnut holes (not pictured, I ate them all). They bang! A must have

Consistently good donuts. I’m not sure why I’ve never had to wait in line to pick out a dozen donuts here. Cheap at $12/dozen. Decent variety of donuts.

Robert Orender

These are the best donuts around this area. Go here instead of Krispy Kreme. You won’t be disappointed.

Lisa Piscitelli
