I went to an event this past weekend (Philippines Independence Day) and Dot and Dough was one of the food vendors. Since I didn’t get a chance to try any of the donuts, I wanted to check out the store.
The donuts was definitely satisfied my cravings, not overly too sweet. They have a wide variety of flavors and fillings.

Finally got to try this place. Ordered a few to share with my family, will definitely be coming back to try the other flavors 🙂 (Pictured: Fruity pebbles cereal, oreo, and cinnamon sugar) Oreo was my favorite of the three.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed.
1. Mochi donuts tasted more like regular donuts. Absolutely no chewy, mochi texture. They tasted like they had been sitting there a while, and I showed up a few minutes after opening. The oreo flavor was the biggest disappointment; the oreo layer was so firm and dry, so I scraped it off. I’ve had mochi donuts from Mochinut,Modo, king’s Hawaiian, etc. This is by far my least favorite.
2. Horchata latte did not taste like horchata. Just a regular latte with sprinkled cinnamon.
Since it’s a new location, I’m willing to give this place another try. I understand it takes a business some time to find their groove. So I’ll be back in 6 months to see if they’ve improved.

The donuts taste good but I give a one star for the experience. First they take forever to bring out your order. Then you spend $3 per donut that are supposed to be really pretty and cute for you to take pictures of but they stick them all in a paper bag together and make a huge sticky mess where they’re all stuck together. So whack. Also the cashier originally gave my order to someone else who then handled it, opened it and idk where their hands been. Ew
