These are the most DENSE donuts I’ve ever had. They seem to be more cake-like than fluffy, unlike a standard original glaze.
Things you should know:
I. SERVICE
No complaints. Accomodating even when we walked in right before closing time.
II. QUALITY
Outstanding. The options are unique here. I will say, the old fashioned maple was the best I’ve ever had and the compassion fruit was fun to try

Empty since we arrived right before closing, but they still had so many options to take home

We didn’t realize at first that it was vegan. We stumbled on this place by accident and were so impressed we went back a second time (and we are not typically sweets people)!
I had the Poppy Gandhi donut and it was amazing, my husband had the green tea- not as good! Then we went back for the x-ray milk shake….WOW!!!! For sure stop here when you are on Broadway, with an appetite!

This place is delicious! I’ve missed my passionfruit donuts from DOUGH in NYC for 3 years and this is the first place I found in LA that not only has them but they taste incredible. I also couldn’t help myself and got the strawberry sandwich donut . Get here now!

Wow. What to say except I love this place. The angry Samoa, I think about all the time. If I was on death row and it was my last meal, I would choose to eat only three angry Samoa’s. I live in Colorado now, but I wish I could be mailed my favorite donut because it truly is a one of a kind. Plus this handsome guy named Andy makes the best coffee ever. Was so nice and friendly. I’ve never had a bad donut from this store, the corn ice cream I fantasize at night about. I just love the vibez. I miss going here, but I also don’t miss worrying about diabetes, so maybe it’s a good thing.

We were so sad to learn that Donatsu permanently closed in Little Tokyo (in L.A.), but then we learned about this other all-vegan donut shop: Donut Friend! It’s just as good as Donatsu was with wonderful and unique vegan flavors, AND they have a donut ice cream sandwich !!

This was my first time and I love it ! Donuts are delicious and also they have hot beverages, I got the fruit tea and they added vegan honey, that was so bomb! % recommended, they are open Wednesday through Sunday! You must try it!

This place has a remarkable product. The samoa donut kept me full all day, and I have a terribly immodest appetite. It was as delicious as a short stack of fresh pancakes. Whoever created these recipes might be some kind of angel. Whoever makes the donuts is certainly an artist.
