FRIENDLY CAMBODIAN FAMILY OWNED SINCE 1985. Great service with smiles. Watch DONUT KING and support local family owned donut shops!
BTW I went there at 10 am Saturday and there were PLENTY OF DONUTS, wonderfully terrible coffee and a good conversation. IF YOU RECOMMEND WENCHELS OVER THIS PLACE, you must still have COVID because those are dead sponge cakes brought to you by another corporate grab at our eating options.

Love this place, family owned, friendly and yummy donuts!!
Went in this morning, I asked so many questions about which donuts were which and the guy was more then happy to walk me through it lol even threw in a sampler and couple donut holes!

That donuts are super delicious and the staff is extremely friendly. Every time I go in, I am greeted with a smile on their face. They always put a couple extra donut holes in my bag in check out. They now accept Venmo and cash app for payment which is extremely convenient. I love the spot!

Avoid this place. Went to get an Apple Fritter. Took a bite and it was like biting into chalk. It was super dry, tasteless and unpleasant.

I went back in to speak to the older woman working in the place. I was certain these were a few days old. She was combative and was trying to convince me that every other delicious donut I have ordered before was made wrong.

Oh well I lost $1.50 but you don’t have to. There are a ton of other donut shops. Avoid this one.

Well Ive only been a customer since the 90s. But even when I moved to Chicago for 5 years, when I came to visit I experienced 2 things, I was always greeted like we were picking up a conversation from earlier and the donuts were ALWAYS fresh and fantastic. The Apple Fritters are so crispy and delicious. I can’t take less than a “Fast dozen”. We have coffee and chat. But the customers are all taken care of spit spot (that’s a Mary Poppins-ism.) Anyway, I do myself a favor every time I visit. Oh and if the review seems fakely gushing, I don’t know what to say other than have a Crispy donut and you’ll sing along with me. Kudos!

Only cash, y’all. Of course it’s on the day I buy 4 dozen donuts. They are tasty though.

This is literally the worst donut shop around. It’s the closest one to me because I’ve been in the College Area for 9 yrs, but I’ll drive to City Heights now instead. The owner does not make enough donuts to have anything in the case after 10am. I’ve been here at all hours and she never has donuts and says the same thing every time “ oh I ran out, it’s so busy”.
News flash, it’s NEVER busy when I’ve gone in there.
Another time she told me she can’t afford to make donuts because the price of flour went up.
Another news flash, if your only job is to make donuts because you are a donut shop, then who cares how much flour costs?
That’s like Popeyes saying they can’t make chicken because the cost of chicken is up.

Had an appointment in the area and wanted to try a local donut shop. So glad I picked this place! A nice lady greeted me when I came in. I got there a little before 9am… and most donuts were gone! I got the ham & cheese croissant and a chocolate glazed donut bar. The croissant was slightly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside- just the right amount of cheese and ham. Not too greasy like most donut shops, and I didn’t feel gross afterwards. The donut was also perfect, a little crispy on the outside, fluffy and chewy on the inside- not drenched in oil. Their chocolate glaze was good too, not overly sweet.
