Donuts are my guilty pleasure, so I was super excited to see that theres a local donut shop right next to my new place!!
I tried the Sat Morning Cartoon flavor and thought it was the perfect texture – so, so soft and perfectly sweet.
My coffee of choice is always straight Espresso, so thats what i ordered here – 4 hot espresso shots. Honestly, they were pretty sour, which might be the result of under extraction, not sure but It was a bit disappointing for a coffee bar. Regardless, I’ll still be stopping in once every week or two, I loved the employees and atmosphere!!

These donuts and cupcakes … chef’s kiss the salted caramel filled donut is insanity. Fluffy salted caramel mouse, caramel glaze. My gawd. Brunch crunch is a chocolate overload in the best way.
Cupcakes are lovely, social media worthy. The coffee blends are top notch. Bonus-super cute popsicle shop in the back and really cool backdrop for pics.
We’ll be back to try more flavors.

Possibly the greatest pretzel I’ve ever had.
We’ve tried a lot different things (both sweet and savory) and Angel Food Bakery never disappoints. My favorites were the classic sugar donut and the plain pretzel. They also have a great coffee and tea menu as well!
Would like to see them move away from single use plastics at some point but still a great spot!

The best French Crueller in the entire world! My husband used to work downtown and would bring them home every so often and since February of 2020 he’s been working home and they’ve been closed… With their new location in Texa-tonka, I’m finally able to enjoy them again! The east coast cronut ain’t got nothing on these treats! I swear eating one today tasted so much better than I remembered, I’m so grateful to have a location to visit less than 30 minutes away!

LOVED IT! I had heard wonderful things about this place, and being a baker myself, I knew I had to check it out. as soon as I walked in the staff was courteous and friendly, giving me recommendations based on my taste. everything was clean and aesthetically pleasing, I was very satisfied with the establishment itself.
taste wise, I would say it was lovely! the donuts were fresh, and the flavors blended well together. the chai was quite good as well!
overall, 10/10 experience. thank you!!!

We were so exctied to try this place. Got 3 donuts and a scone. The French cruller was great. The raised donuts had no flavor and were hard. Holiday gas station and Cub foods has way better raised donuts. Worst of all my chocolate banana scone was under cooked therefore, inedible. Very disappointed that 3 out of 4 were poor quality. They also put our items in a bag so it squished some and ruined the frosting. The cost was considerably high for what you get. It’s $2.45 or close for a raised donut when better tasting one’s can be acquired for $.99. By the way the donuts on the posters inside and outside don’t match the limited selection. I wouldn’t recommend standing in lines waiting or waking up early to beat them. Its not worth it.

Loved going to Angle Food downtown and was even more excited to see there is one in SLP right down the street! Went for the first time this morning, it was busy! However the line moved consistently and I was ordering my donuts within 30 minutes. Honestly it was worth the wait! I ordered a dozen and they were all really good and very fresh, also enjoyed an iced Carmel latte. So happy to finally have a good donut and coffee shop near me!

Had a chai tea with boba boba shaved ice cream. Very light and fluffy. Super fun concept. The owner was super friendly and upbeat. With a try if you are looking for a spin on your normal ice cream and bakery place. Adult beverages also. 21 +

Yum yum yum. I tried the “vanilla kids choice” and it was delightful. Sweet but not overly. Just yum. And such a cool outdoor space too!

I was really excited to try this place as I was never able to make it to their downtown location. Sad to only give it two stars but the donuts were underwhelming even without the 45 minute wait. I’m all for waiting and paying $2.75 or more for a donut if it is good. We got a box of six and only liked (not loved) the french crueller and salted caramel.
Pretzel lacked flavor.
Operationally speaking, they could be managing crowds a lot better if they labeled all of the donuts in the display. As it is right now, there was only one person boxing and that person had to tell each customer ordering what the donuts were which held up the line considerably and left the cashier free at times.
Space is nice but in 45 min of waiting didn’t see anyone clean/wipe down tables between customer use.
