We visited this morning. The shop is small and unassuming, and we waited in line a few minutes before entering. COVID restrictions were in place, so it felt safe. The apple fritters were very good, and our group enjoyed other varieties as well. It is a great traditional bakery for donuts!

Perfect shop to make a part of your morning walk in the St. Louis Hills. Some of the best coffee in St. Louis! Thorough and friendly staff are efficient and eager to help. I even got some Prairie Farms milk from Edwardsville to go with my coffee and donuts. This place boasts a line out the door virtually all times that it is open, but it is worth the (very short) wait. Definitely a staple for when I visit friends in STL.

The best donut shop ever ! They are always in their making fresh donuts . It’s a small space so you get to actually see them working and making the donuts when you come in. The staff is always nice and friendly ! It gets pretty busy at times but always worth the wait !! Keep up the good work

Tried of finding the grocery stores out of your favorite donuts in the evening? Here is your after hours solution. Excellent little donut shop with a good variety of both cake and regular donuts. The cake were particularly good and I’m not a big cake donut fan. Pricing is about a dollar per donut but the more you get the less per donut.

Really nice authentic donut shop. Prices are really great (I payed 5$ fo 4 donuts). Staff is super friendly. Classic glazed donuts are super fluffy and delicious.

Donut Drive in is hands down the best donut place in St.Louis. They’re always really fresh and there’s no bad options. Highly recommend getting a random assortment!

I’d say you go here for the experience but not amazing donuts. My husband I were visiting from Indianapolis (home of Long’s donuts). We try to grab donuts in every city we visit and determined this was the go-to spot in St. Louis. The donuts are just okay, but pulling into the retro shop and standing in line was the best part. We grabbed some classic glazed donuts and a cinnamon roll. We took them to Forest park, sat on a bench and enjoyed. While I don’t think the donuts are anything special, I would still recommend this place for the experience.

Was driving Missouri Route 66 when we found this gem. Only stopped to take photos and then got back on the road. Must be good, there were people standing in line outside to get in. We’ll have to try some donuts next time through town.

The epitome of a traditional doughnut shop. Best doughnuts in South Saint Louis City. The glazed yeast doughnut has a light coating of glaze and is very fluffy. Perfect doughnut in my opinion. 12 out of 12 doughnuts in my box!
