We love The Grind! It’s our favorite coffee shop, hands down. Everyone who works there is so friendly and amazing, and the coffee and treats are top notch. My husband and I have been going since we moved into the area two years ago and can’t recommend it more. Even our pup is a fan. We can’t walk by without stopping in for a treat (she’s a fan of the whipped cream, for sure). Make sure to visit!

Just grabbed a coffee and a scone before running some errands. Coffee (double espresso) was excellent, scone was good, barristas are super nice. Great selection of pastries. The place itself is welcoming and cozy. Bathtoom was neat (any joint that has a clean bathtoom gets extra points in my book). This is my 3rd or 4th time here, will definitely be back! Thank you, GRIND, and please keep it up!

Really, really, REALLY great coffee here.
They open early so you can get your fix and by 3:30pm they are closed.
They have deep rich aromatic beans that they grind & diverse syrups (including blueberry!). They offer non dairy milk substitutes & have morning pastries.

The Grind Shop located at 360 Communipaw in Jersey City is amazing! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming… shoutout to Vivian, Rebeka, April, Aniya, Noel, and Mateo! They know all the locals by name and go above and beyond to enhance everyone’s experience. The music and overall vibe is very balanced… both lively and entertaining, but also chill enough to get some work done quietly if that’s what you need. I highly recommend the ‘iced coconut mocha latte’… it tastes like an almond joy candy bar in a cup, and is pure heaven!

Just moved to the neighborhood and tried this place. Had their “Alfajores” Latte which was amazing. A mix of dulce de leche and coconut infused latte. So good! The people are friendly as well!

Great coffee and flavor options. Also, I like the fact that there is a sugar free option. The interior design of the cafe was well thought out and had a relaxing vibe. Very clean and modern.

Awesome coffee shop in this area. Plenty of tables and the wifi is solid. Interior is great. Small menu but everything is really good! Good pastry selection as well. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. I ordered a latte which was good and snacks were delicious.

This was my first time there. I went to meet an old friend from highschool. Hadn’t seen each other in 40 years. The coffee was good and not too pricey. They closed up at 3:00 on this particular Sunday. So we wound up standing outside for a half hour until it got too cold ❄️. I would recommend this establishment.
