Simply, a great bread. Probably the last “panaderia “ in the island. They only sale pan sobao or pan de agua. Nothing more in inventory, no water, soda, neither butter. Just bread and only available when the “batch” get out of the oven. This is a traditional recipe, so there is no weird or new preservatives. Is not a bread to keep in the cabinets for days
Best pan sobao and best pan de agua in Puerto Rico. These two things are the only thing they bake so they put their heart into it.
Panaderia la Cialeña has been around for more than 50 years! They only sale 2 types of bread, a type of Italian ( pan sobao ) and a type of french bread ( pan de agua ). Is a great place, always fresh and delicious
