New Ming Wah Restaurant Reviews

Went yesterday for dinner and there was a fully cooked cockroach in the food! The most gross experience I have ever had. When calling the server she, called another server, the other server took the plate and called the “Manager”. He said to me “don’t worry about the bill”. No apology, no regret NOTHING. If you want extra protein in your food then, this is your place!

I wasn’t sure what the inside looked like. My son said to never judge a book buy it’s cover. I was pleasantly surprised! We ordered take out. A little pricy, but everything was very good and exactly what I ordered. I will definitely be back for my angel hair noodles with veggies and chicken. It was delicious

Very good food and service. The food was fresh and tasty.

Well they have a good portion size and they are a nice clean upscale restaurant. Food was mediocre . No taste to the egg roll but had a good texture . My fiancée ordered orange chicken which looks exactly like my sesame chicken with the exception of seeds . Overall wasn’t really bad I would’ve rather they kept the buffet instead ..

Absolutely terrible. I never leave bad reviews but this was inedible. We ordered sweet and sour chicken and General Tso’s It was a friend chicken breast, chopped up and covered in different sauces. We won’t be back

This place is an awesome “hole in the wall” kind of spot. I ordered the Har Ding and spring rolls, both were very yummy! The service was slow but the wait staff were pleasant. Thank you for a fantastic lunch! This is my favorite Chinese place in Augusta!

This is by far the BEST Chinese food around the CSRA! I have always loved them and they continue to deliver excellent food time after time. No peas and carrots in their fried rice, which is a huge factor for me. I don’t want peas and carrots in my rice and their chicken isn’t encased in a ball of fried dough! Their Almond Chicken for instance, is sliced white meat and there isn’t any question as to what cut the meat it’s from or if it’s even chicken! That is my biggest complaint about other Chinese restaurants. Last but not least, their Almond sauce is delicious! I get extra and pour it over my rice and use it on my egg roll! The portions are large and I always have enough for another meal leftover.

We eat here fairly often.
Their flavors are on point.
I’ve never walked away feeling like I’ve been ripped off or overpaid.
Easily one of the best chinese restaurants in town.

Most importantly, the roast pork is delicious and they do ma po tofu right.

Order was ready except for the pepper steak extra gravy that was not included & was not charged so I placed a separate order for the gravy. Waited 10 to 15 minutes that I thought was uncalled for. Food was & is delicious.

They open promptly at 11:30am on Saturday. We had to sit in our car for a few minutes to wait for them to open the door for us. The food we had was from the buffet and they had a decent arrangement of authentic foods. It was tasty and filling and nothing was undercooked or bad. The variety is not as large as some of the other buffets in the area, but the quality of the food is very good all around. The only issue we saw was the building was a little run down, although they’ve made effort to renovate the interior and make it look more up to date. New floors and clean restroom. They also make boba tea which is a nice new addition and not commonly found in Chinese buffet restaurants
