My friend surprised me with a beautifully decorated cake from here and it was absolute amazing. Most delicious cake I have ever tasted in my whole life and I just turned 56 and I’m also very picky about what I eat. How can I ever eat cake from anywhere else? I will definitely be purchasing cakes from this bakery!! Thank you!!

I was looking for a cake that goes w/ my daughter, something simple but elegant at the same time, a friend recommended me Mary’s bakery and the made it possible, everyone loves the looks and taste of the cake, definitely would be ordering my next cake here. I tried Mary’s Bakery for my sons 21st bday cake. I provided pictures and the toppers I wanted. The cake taste great! Can’t deny that. But I should’ve listened to these reviews. The cake looked nothing like the pictures I provided. It didn’t ruin my sons party because obviously cakes are picked up on the day of the events so we have no recourse. So really I’m not going to be angry on a huge day like a 21st bday because of a cake. But it’s unfortunate. If they can’t make a cake look like what the person wants then don’t take the job. Be fair to people, tell them you can’t. It’s understandable. I’d respect it more. Customer service is ehh. Not good not bad. I would return for a plain cake lol they taste good. But not for a design cake. First two Pictures are inspiration. Third pic with red and black ribbon and just a name on the front is what I got. My guests and I got a good laugh and a great tasting cake.
In response to the owners response below. Your whole response was total BS! Lol. That cake I pictured is EXACTLY the cake we picked up. I’m not here to argue. I gave a very HONEST answer and my honest review is actually similar to other reviews posted before mines. So are all your customers lying I highly doubt.
And for the record what is a low level cake

The only place I will order my cake. The taste is to die for for and smooth to the tongue. I have never like icing since I was a kid, but Mary’s Bakery is the only I an enjoy eating the icing on the cake. The manager Jun is extremely professional and very responsive to his IG questions. He made sure he remained in contact with me until he arrived at the store to place my order since the English employee wasn’t present. I was really pleased with that. That’s what I thrive for great customer service!

Hands down the best Dominican cake I’ve had made in the US (coming from a Dominican). The cake looked really nice, and the price was good too. I’ve finally found a good and reliable Dominican style bakery, and will definitely continue to order from Mary’s Bakery.

My family has been purchasing cakes from this bakery for over 10 years. They are always consistent with flavor and the designs have improved so much. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel welcomed. Best #dominicancakes in North Jersey for sure!

Mary Cakes on Market st. Uses Mary’s name. However, the authentic Mary Bakery left to 22nd Ave 10 years ago.
Please do not give bad reviews to Mary’s Bakery when you went to Mary Cakes.
I loved every cake I’ve gotten from Marys Bakery. I usually get all my cakes here. The only times I dont is when I need the cake the same day.
The cakes here are delicious. Pictures to come!

Order a cake an was super dry, had a very thing layer of pineapple mermelada in the middle despite me paying for extra for it and it just seemed to be flower and water. Bad cake not worth the money.
