My favorite donut spot in Sacramento. It’s on Freeport boulevard right between Curtis Park and Land Park neighborhoods. They rotate a few flavors and types throughout the week, but they have your staples always. Everything is outside and there’s no seating. You walk up, wait in line and point at what you want from the window. Recommend you have cash if you’re getting just a few donuts since they have a $5 minimum for credit cards. Or spoil yourself and friends (or colleagues) with a dozen donuts! Highly recommend if you’re craving delicious, sugary, quality donuts!

An honest review: Marie’s Donuts are just ok. Trust me when I tell you, they used to be better. These youngsters leaving glowing reviews weren’t even alive when these used to be the go-to donuts in East Sac, so they’re giving 5 stars to what are actually 2 or 3- star donuts.
The frosting has become so cheap, there’s barely a layer on them- check the pics I’ve posted. Today I got a Valentines sprinkle cake donut and a maple bar.
Both had the thinnest layer of frosting I’ve ever seen. So the prices have gone way up and the quality has gone down, imho.
Oh- and to use your debit card on a purchase of less than $5, it will add on an additional .75 cents!
Just not worth it to me.

Excellent high quality donuts. Me and my family frequently visit this great place! I recommend it highly. The French Crullers with maple frosting is really good.

Since it’s covid situation, it’s not easy to talk with them. I wish they put some name or tags on their donuts. It was my first visit and I ordered bunch with my sense. The plain twist donut is a little more sweet than i expected. Blueberry donut is between old fashion donut and muffins. Chocolate covered donuts are okay. Coconut donut is pretty good. Today the best donut for me was light brown covered with filling donuts. It was moisturized well and cream puff is not too sweet. I also had their coffee but i don’t think buy the coffee from them is good idea. They have only 2options which are french vanilla and mocha. Sweet donuts and sweet coffee .. umm I got another a cup of coffee from the next cafe.
They accept the card but you need to pay the fee so I recommend you to bring some cash.

Some of the best donuts in Sacramento. I always take my friends here when they visit. Pre ordered 3 dozen blueberry donuts and they were all ready by 7am on a Saturday (which I requested). 10/10 and great value.

Love this place! Their apple fritters are incredible. They also open super early so if you ever need a donut at 2am hit this place up. Most “regular” donuts are like $1.

The old fashion and blueberry were amazing! Super cheap and delicious! Couldn’t get a pic of the creme-filled before it was devoured before pictures but the filling was so good!! not overly sweet 10/10

First whoever took our order messed it up completely. The cream filled glaze are 5+ and the apple fritters are good. Everything else is average. Get just as good and way cheaper at Safeway..They are lucky to get overflow business when Freeport Bakery is sold out.

Best place to get a fresh donut( straight out of the oil) literally anytime of the day.
Just be careful at night. The owners are nice hardworking people. Its a walk up not a restaurant but I don’t see that as a drawback.
