Big Burchy
So I stopped in about 945 to get some breakfast. She told me they had no breakfast items available. At 945 what else is there??? She said it’ll be about 20 min until the eggs were ready. Pretty disappointed since I went there specifically for breakfast. So I ordered a panini AGAIN. They are really good, but I’ve already tried them and know that, I was looking forward to something else hence the early visit. I asked for napkins but they only have coaster size(see pic below) I mean come on. If I’m eating a sandwich I need a regular size napkin. They have lotsa sweets from cupcakes to cookies and cheesecake. I’m highly disappointed in the cheesecake, not good at all, good cheesecake should be dense and heavy with that slight sour or whatever taste. There’s is airy and super light and the flavor is not even close to the good stuff. Don’t waste your money on it. The Groupon is a good deal. Second time for this place. Just wish they had breakfast ready at breakfast.

If you ever get something from lilac city bakery… don’t. I found mold in a cake pop that I had already eaten today, yet it’s dated that it’s good until 3/23/22. I used to work here so I know that they have their cake pops sent from their sister bakery in the valley, celebrations, and that they then throw them in black milk crates in their walk in cooler until they’re ordered and then they date them, they aren’t dated when they are made and stored, so who knows how long this was sitting in their refrigerator. If this doesn’t make you want to puke I don’t know what would.. I just hope I don’t get sick!

Found it around the corner from Subway. Decided to poke our heads in this little spot and got a surprise! It’s “bigger on the inside!” There’s a full scale bakery going on in there with amazing creations! The staff was friendly and welcoming and there was “bakery stuff” going on right in front of us! A cake decorator was creating a unique watermelon design and another baker was dividing a 12ft long roll of dough into precise cinnamon roll shapes. The cake we bought was simply elegant and a perfect balance of flavor and texture. Can’t wait to visit them again!

I asked them to make a cake for my wonderful wife’s celebration of life. I asked if they could make the cake like her favorite purse. The cake looked so realistic we almost didn’t want to cut it open.

First time in this bakery. Décor is cute with bakery utensils on the wall. First time in this establishment, lunch menu is a little confusing. Waited almost twenty minutes for two sandwiches to go. Next time will try ordering ahead as I have a limited amount of time for lunch. Grilled Mediterranean Panini is awesome.

I used to work here and it was an absolute nightmare. From the customer stand point though let me tell you most of the girls there will actively avoid helping a customer if it at all possible, after a customer service interaction they’ll usually turn around and say something rude about the person. I cant say much about most of the food as i didnt really bother to try it but what i did eat wasn’t really worth eating again.

This place is awesome! They took time to sit with us to custom order my daughters birthday cake and get all the details! It came out exactly how she wanted. It was above and beyond what we expected and the price was so reasonable. Will be ordering out cakes for all parties from here from now on 🙂 Thanks for helping make our daughters birthday so special!

UPDATE: I went to Lilac City Bakery for a baby shower cookie set up. They off course did amazing once agian. They were even able to make vegan cookies for the mom to be. They are now my go to for special bakery items.
