Excellent donuts, PACZKI and pasties.
I’ve passed this small understated shop for years. Sorry I didn’t stop in sooner.
The PACZKIs are excellent and much better than those found at one of the more popular PACZKI places in Hamtramck. For that matter, better than almost all PACZKI‘s I’ve had over the years. The cake of the donut is moist enough, but yet has the desired consistency. The filling is excellent. The glazing, my preferred variety of PACZKI, is not too thick with the right balance of overall sweetness.
The staff is friendly, competent and efficient. I wasn’t surprised to hear that people come from as far away as Richmond, Northville, and other outlying areas for these sought after PACZKI‘s. I have not yet tried, but look forward to tasting their pasties. Also look forward to trying their other baked goods. They also have Mackinac Island Fudge.
Definitely worth a stop for donuts, PACZKI‘s, pasties and more. Well done Golden Donuts.

Have lived in the area for 10 years & never been, how did I miss it? Professional, Polite, GREAT customer service. I put on a frowny face when they were out of maple stick donuts, but the gentlemen went in the back & made them for me fresh!
I used to frequent Krispy Kreme & Tim Horney’s, but this will be my donut haunt from this point forward 🙂

By far the best local donut shop around! The donuts are fresh with a little crisp to them, and the variety is awesome. They are reasonably priced, as well. This has been my go to place for work meetings and anything else I want to bring a sweet treat to!

I’m not even a mile away and yet & I’m confidently writing this review (in the car littered with powder sugar) after having just enjoyed the best bavarian cream powdered donut of my entire life. Fresh, soft, perfect amount of filling, excellent in ever way. 5 stars doesn’t do this place justice.
