Quick stop for donuts! They have a drive thru which makes it fast and easy. The lady is super sweet that works there, and donuts are soooo tasty and a great price! (They are cash only). Not over priced donuts like some of the shops in Newport. She even threw in a few extra donuts on the house! Must try donuts!

With the fact that I visited a Winchell’s recently (having had a experience), I can with great certainty say that my experience here was definitely 5 . The jelly-filled doughnut I ordered was 100% satisfactory, as was the apple fritter & cinnamon roll were (for my boyfriend). Yes, I would visit again .

This place has the most delicious donuts I’ve had in my entire life (even compared with very famous donut shops like voodoo donuts in Portland). In particular, their apple fritter is not like any one you will have elsewhere – it is thin and crunchy around the edges and juicy in the middle, and never “too doughy”, like many fritters can be. The apple flavor is carmelized and decadent.

I have yet to try all their donuts. I got their apple fritter which was $2 and she also added some donuts holes to my order. Such a sweet lady. It is actually one of the few donuts close to my work, that seem like a mom and pop shop. I definitely will return to try everything else.
