Overall: More of a traditional donut shop here in the city. People come because it’s open late and has a donut as big as one’s face.

Donuts:
Chocolate Donut – 3/5 – So my donut was bit dry and was a St Patty’s Day special. I think maybe the food coloring might have dried it out. I bought it cause of the marshmallow and it was a bit more expensive than I expected to pay.
Service: 3/5 – Standard service.
Ambiance: N/A – A grab and go place.

The donuts are super awesome. Doesn’t matter what you buy. They are all good. But I did have the apple fritter and it was so good. Depending on when you arrive, there may be a line but it moves fast. And sometimes there isn’t anyone but you and your appetite!

I recently visited this location and unfortunately it wasn’t all that great to praise contrary to the high reviews.
The donuts I received were stale, especially the colorful one with cereal flakes. The donuts seemed to be tough, like they over kneaded the dough, and slightly more dry inside.
Mind you I did arrive at this location at 5am, but regardless food served should be as fresh as possible or it shouldn’t be served.
The reason for two stars is because it he sizes were adequate for what they are. So if you are desperate for carbs, I’d recommend another place, but this would suffice too.

This was a San Francisco treat for sure!!! These lady’s were super friendly and the quality of pastries were spot on. The super huge donuts were delicious looking. I will always stop in when I’m visiting the city.. thank you for doing such a great job for your customers 🙂

Must visit this place . Well I went for drinks with my friends and while crossing the street I randomly saw this pastry shop and thought to give a try as it was midnight and I was craving badly after seeing all donuts displayed well on shop. I literally ate one donut and again went back to order take out. I literally stand for 20 minutes in line another time for take out. The place was crowded with big line even at 3.30pm at night. Trust me you must try the donuts of this place. If you love chocolate that this place is for you. I ate chocolate, Eclair with custard filled and many other and all are my fav now. This is one of the best donut I had in SF. Totally deserves five star. The place is very clean and they are quick with their service to clear the long line.

The donuts are good as any donut can be, the price is reasonable.
I had the Apple fritter (I don’t get the hype) and some classic donuts (just sugar and chocolate with sprinkles)
The venue is cool tho.

If you’re looking to go back in time to old San Francisco, then this is the perfect place! We saw parents bring their kids & grand kids to this place to have their delicious donuts. We couldn’t decide which ones and ended up walking out with six of them – the apple one & one with raspberry jam in the middle were our winners!! Glad we don’t Iive super close to this place, phew!! Definitely will come back

Believe the hype! The apple fritter is by far my favorite, with a crisp sugar glaze, chewy, tender dough, and plenty of apple chunks. The maple custard bar is a close second. Bob’s is always mixing it up, and their specialty donuts are consistently creative and delicious.

What an absolute diamond in the big city! Open 24 hrs and serving, you got it,…donuts!!! And damn good ones at that. Stop by and see what is hot and in the window. We got the classic chocolate old fashioned, fruit loop glazed and apple fritter. Absolutely delicious!!! Do not, I repeat, do not walk on by. You WILL regret it.

I went last week to polk location bought half of dozen of donuts, kept asking for a box she won’t gave me one. She jammed all my donuts into a small paper bag made it looks like this. I ordered old fashioned buttermilk maple bar and she gave me the wrong one.
Went again last night to this shop and ask for old fashioned buttermilk maple bar and she gave me the wrong donut again!
Been looking forward to buy donut from this shop since I moved away 12 years ago but this happens 🙁 very sad.
I suggest going to the Baker St. location.
