Cheap, massive, soft, chewy, amazing, and every other adjective to describe a donut. Even then, that won’t be enough to describe the beauty of the voodoo donut. Their average cost for their donuts would be 2.50$-3.50$ and their quality is insane to where I would argue that the price you pay under values the quality of the donut. I think it deserve to cost more! 100% recommend picking any of their donuts and I mean any!

OMG!!! They have some most creative donuts I have ever seen! Definitely two thumbs up for their creativity~ They are a little bit on the pricey side but for the decoration, it is worth it!

Yes, the wait time could be long especially in the afternoon when people are out from the Universal Studio. I like to get my donuts first in the morning & enjoy it while I am walking to the Universal Studio. So far never a line.

They have outdoor seating area in case you want to take a break.

I went to the shop to get some great special donuts and I did. Got some of the best donuts of my life, the ones I got were Dirt, Little Pink, Hollywood Creme, Voodoo Doll (their special), Oh Captain, My Captain and Bacon Maple Bar. Love the donuts but they were on the sweater side. I would recommend this to most people I know.

Worth the hype!

Variety – 5/5

Reduced one star cause of the wait.

Most popular one is the voodoo – obviously. Choco topping with raspberry filling and shaped like a voodoo doll.

I really liked the chuckles. Chocolate frosting, syrup and peanuts all together make it a really tasty combination.

We even had one of the donuts the next day and it still tasted pretty good

Fun spot to stop by if you are ever thinking about going to Universal Studios this Universal CityWalk store is a must. A fantastic assortment of delicious donuts to try. They also have a bunch of donuts that are gluten free. Don’t be deterred by the line! The customer service is pretty good and they help to move the line quickly. It’s a popular spot and a must try.

Super cool and original place. Like everything about this donut joint, if you have little one , will definitely get a kick from voodoo’s charismatic decor and atmosphere. The choices are plenty to choose from. Can’t really go wrong with what you pick.

Voodoo Donut has been a place I’ve wanted to try for along time… We spent the day at Universal Studios and when we were leaving my wife spotted it! And of course we had to stop lol. I wasn’t crowded at all and we were able to walk right in and order and sit down eat. And they deffidently lived up to my expectations.

I love pretty much all donuts and Voodoo Doughnuts is no exception. They have large donuts at great prices, which given this particular location is even more impressive. You get a great donut at a good value.

Their style of donuts are lot like the kind you’d get a small independent local donut shop including the traditional pink box.

The decor is a fun theme. Grabbing donuts here after a movie is a ritual for me.

These are undoubtedly the best donuts in LA! <3 I went to it two days in a row because I was simply obsessed with their donuts! The waiting line might be a bit long depends on the time you’re going, (it’s busier during lunch time), but it’s definitely worth it! The second time I went there I ordered a “Chuckles” donut, but the waiter heard “Chocolate” instead of “Chuckles”, so I went back there and told her that’s not what I ordered and she also gave me the “Chuckles” donut for free which was sooo nice of hers! The donuts are fresh and delicious! I highly recommend it even to those who might not be big donut fans! I’m sure they’ll become after a bite or two, lol 🙂

Purchased a box last evening. They looked fine. Got them home and they were completely stale. I should’ve known better than to buy them at night, but literally everyone else was, too. I mean, there’s always a line at this place, even at night. I guess I assumed they were always making fresh doughnuts, but apparently not. Definitely only go in the morning when they’re right out of the oven.
