Valerio’s Tropical Bakeshop Reviews

The best Filipino bakery! I love their bread & the bakery is clean. When i’m here I always get bitso-bitso, bibingka, and pineapple flower bread. It’s also great that they sell cheese rolls. Definitely recommend coming here.

The ube breads here taste terrible. They taste very artificial and the food coloring they use has a very bitter taste to it and it tastes nothing like ube. The cheese ensaymada and pineapple cheese bulilit are delicious though. The bread was very soft and toppings and filling are flavorful. I will purchase my ube products elsewhere because the ingredientsused here are of cheap quality.

I bought chicken empanada to give as a present. The empanada was spoil .I did talked to the person incharge she didn’t do anything .she just told me sorry.as I was talking to them a gentlemen was complaining that the palabok got them sick they are having a stomach ache.same the answer they give is sorry. They both start laughing. I told them that don’t be laughing this will be reported to the Health Department of San Bernardino.

I’m sure this place is good, however, I couldn’t even make it past a phone call with their severe lack of customer service. The phone attendant hung up on me several times because “of spotty phone service”. I was simply calling to confirm if they make a certain bakery item and wasn’t able to get past the phone call.

Omg I can’t even begin to say how awesome this store is. They sell good delicacies like Ginataang Mais, bilo2x and Bibingkang Malagkit. Everything they sell are just on point, even the espasol. I probably share the same hometown as the owner of this bakery.

I didn’t like this bakeshop @ all!

Hopia ube and ube bread are really my favorites..but Hopia baboy is frustrating..here’s why and please take time to check on the ingredients. No baboy or even just a tiny piece of it..really? Then why call it hopya baboy????? The lady cashier was very nice and friendly..
