Two Boys Donuts Reviews

Good but not great.

First time I visited two boys donuts, it was around 11am, and I was surprised to see a sold out sign halting my entrance.

This peaked my interest and set expectations pretty high. Later that week I arrived again at 6am to see what their product taste like at its best. There’s nothing better than a fresh donut right out of the fryer with coffee.

Unfortunately the dough is a bit stiff and dry. I lost interest in eating any additional donuts after trying a few bites of each kind.

It’s not bad, but it’s not something I would set aside my normal schedule to go get again.

The best donut in town still belongs to Bristol’s and Blue door patisserie.

Great donuts and coffee in a nice venue. The donut selection is very large and great quality. I️ recommend the blueberry donut and red velvet.

Stopped by Two Boys Donuts for a sweet treat before a long road trip. Was pleasantly surprised by the array of flavors and variety available. The staff was super friendly and graciously explained the different types of donuts and gave suggestions. We ended up getting coffee (hot and iced) that was delicious and perfectly sweetened to our liking. The glazed cinnamon twist was my favorite from the bunch we selected. Super sad Two Boys Donuts isn’t a thing on the East coast.

Tried the vegan glazed and apple fritter. The glazed wasn’t anything special to me. Solid but not as good as say Krispy Kreme based off my memory. The apple fritter I thought was excellent. The bread was delicious and my old critique would be to maybe add a little more apple. But the price is also very good. Just over $4 for the two. I look forward to going back and trying other flavors!

Just had a very disappointing experience at your Holly Location. Have been going to this location since it opened. The employees were very friendly and tried to make my experience better. The issue is that the donuts are no longer fresh. They taste like they are at least a day old. I haven’t been able to get Buttermilk bars for a plethora of reasons. I can’t get Gluten Free donuts anymore for whatever reason. The bakers dozen has been eliminated, which is not a complaint, just an observation. Apparently all of this is due to the establishment of a commissary. Unfortunately with growth and success the experience has become lackluster. It now looks, feels and tastes like Dunkin D. or Crispy C. It will be hard to keep returning – Best of Luck Going Forward A very dissatisfied and discouraged patron.

Best donuts in the state of New Mexico!! You owe it to yourself to check this place out.

I had one that was blueberry and carmal and delicious!! They serve nitro coffee also.

The place is clean inviting and has the best atmosphere of any donut shop I have been in.

I can see them opening up more locations based on how popular this place is now.

Check them out and let me know what you think. Make it a family stop when ever you are in Albuquerque.

Pretty amazing establishment. A homeless guy came in and asked the owner if he could have 1 or 2 donut holes. The owner went above and beyond for the gentleman. That really touched my heart as I beleive we are here to help one another in good or bad times. To me the owner exhibited true compassion for someone who may be down on his luck or just hooked on some drug or something. Nevertheless, we are all one bad decision from being in his position. I will always support establishments with owners like this one.

Visited the new location in Los Lunas today. They have a really nice store front and a friendly staff. They lost a couple of stars for a couple of reasons. First, the staff member that I ordered from clearly has no knowledge of donuts. This was proven by not knowing what a Bismarck was and they didn’t know that they had custard filling. They also seemed to be in a panic even though it was not that busy. Secondly, the donuts were under done. Dark on the top and pale on the bottom making them a bit chewy and somewhat unpleasant. I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt that they opened 3 days ago and try again in a couple of months to see if things have improved.

One of my favorite doughnut shops. I’m not sure what it is, but the normal glazed and/or glazed twists bring back childhood memories for me! These have been fresh every visit I’ve made here and the staff have always been nice. Only downside is they are a bit expensive. Still highly recommended.

They are 100% overpriced wal-mart donuts. Got the classic glazed and chocolate half dozen each. $21 for poor quality stale donuts. If your gonna charge that much at least practice quality control. I went back in and threw them away after one bite. Not worth it. And above all your getting nothing special for the price. They taste like wal-mart donuts.
