Dropped in and picked up the vegan Valentines cake. Amazing! My other half and I cut into it and this what survived. So good!!! I also got to meet and talk with Lia (owner) and had a great conversation about family and martial arts. I recommend their cakes if you have never tried them, especially if you have a loved one that can only eat vegan made baked goods. They are truly outstanding bakers. We got some cupcakes too. Only half of them survived long enough for me to take a picture. Lol.

Ordered a 3-tier custom mermaid cake and it turned out perfectly (just like the picture). Our guests loved the chocolate cake with peanut butter filling. The cake was moist and flavorful. Everyone at the party commented on how pretty her cake was. The top tier came off easily to make a smash cake for my daughter. Thank you!

I am a regular buyer of cakes and cupcakes from Sweet Art of Cake. I recently placed an order for a 2 tier eggless custom cake with Lia. She was super helpful in deciding the flavors of both the cake tiers and recommend the size based on the number of people at the party. I was able to request cupcakes in the flavors I wanted to try before placing an order. I decided to go with Red Velvet and Carrot flavors. Overall, it was a beautiful cake, delicious taste, and rightfully so for the milestone birthday. All guests enjoyed the cake especially the birthday girl.

They did such a great job on my sisters cake. They followed the invoice so precisely. Not to mention the taste of the vegan cake was amazing! We ordered white cake with fresh fruit filling. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I ordered Cake and cupcakes for my parents’ Golden wedding anniversary. I placed the order on April 24 and had to pay a rush order fee because the event is scheduled at
April 30. On the day of pick up, I called the bakery twice around 12:52pm to give them a heads up that I’m on my way to pick up my order. Bakery schedule online showed they are open until 4pm on Saturdays. As soon as I arrived, I noticed the store is closed. By the door, there is a regular store hours posted and apparently they’re supposed to be open 11-4pm on Saturdays.
Right next to it is a hand written note says It’s “Closed at 1:30pm”
Few customers also came by and we’re also surprised that the store is closed. I waited for 15mins calling the 3 store numbers posted hoping that call might be diverted to the owner or who ever is in charge on that day, but nobody answered. It’s Very Frustrating, the cake is not just for a simple event but for a special one. I asked my niece to rush to Whole Foods and get a cake and other desserts cause I’m running late preparing for the event. I emailed the Sweet Art of Cake to let them know what happened before I left the store.
On May 2nd, Sweet Art of Cake replied with unknown name. When I asked the name of the person that I’m speaking to, they refused to provide their name. I assumed it was the owner, then I asked for a refund for my purchase. The reply was “I can refund it right now but wanted to offer you something in addition. If you would rather not speak to anyone, just tell me the last 4 digits of the card you used to pay and I will refund it for you.”
I replied with the last 4 digits of the card.
Then they responded “The refund has been issued for your 2 dozen cupcakes. I’m sorry that you chose not to avail of anything else we could have offered you.”
CLEARLY, after giving the card number she didn’t follow up with the said offer. It’s very upsetting to see the response, very rude, lack of customer service.
And then they sent another alibi “Your cake is not at the store. Only your cupcakes are there. The cake was already picked up.”
Obviously, their story is getting crazy trying to reason out what happen. Up to the last message they didn’t disclose the name of the person I’m communicating with. (I still have the thread of messages)
I received the Refund after a few days
I was about to let it go. But I realized, people needs to know what kind of BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE they have and a lesson to learn for future customers.

Think Outside Your Boundaries

I actually came here by mistake, because I didn’t know it changed to a bakery. Way back, it used to be a coffee shop, and you can tell I needed coffee that day. Anyways, right after I walked in, I saw some macarons so I had to try it to see if it was up to par, and I would give it 3-stars. Not the best I ever had, and not the worst. Flavor was a little lacking, plus it was slightly on the sweet side in regards to the filling. Staff was very nice and friendly which is always 5-stars in my book. I will go in again and give the cakes a try. Give you an update as soon as I can.

I ordered this cake for my daughters first birthday the customer service is great they made the cake in a short time and I loved the design they did everything I wanted them to. They also gave me a discount because they’re price is pretty high. The only problem is that the cake didn’t taste that good. It was more of a decoration then something to eat. in such a short time so I decided to ignore the taste this does deserve a 5 star.

I started well before my event and talked to the front office several times on a custom cake they reassured me that they had space available and then to follow the process through their website to get the cake ordered they prolong and delayed long enough that now with my event one week away they say they can’t make a cake for me they ruined my event and what I’ve seen over the few years that I’ve worked with this company is a slow degrade of customer service and quality of cakes . Regardless of the quality if they cannot deliver their service and ruin events for their customers should not be acceptable don’t risk your event on a company that doesn’t care about customer service. I will never use this company again you cannot trust them at their word then you put your events at risk. The owner obviously doesn’t care.

I will never use them again thanks to Lia. I will advise whoever that does Don’t Pay IN Advance or you will not get a refund or even a partial if your not satisfied Her response to the issue I had with the cake I ordered was ridiculous. Please see the photos I’ve attached and know she had the picture in hand to duplicate.Cake 13 is what I wanted & cake # 10 is what I got. If they couldn’t match it , she shouldn’t have taken the order period. Lia felt their was NOTHING wrong with the dented , uneven , visibly smaller cake I received. If you seen it in person it’s worse the photo helped. It didn’t matter I even voiced the issues at the time of pick up and was advised to contact Lia. Too bad it was the day of the birthday gamer inspired party.
