The Salty Donut Reviews

We’ve had donuts all across America and these are definitely at the top of the list. Creative flavor combinations, quality ingredients, and a seamless online order/pickup procedure makes this place a no brainer for any donut fan. Wish we could have tried more flavors but we were only in the area for a day. We had the tres leches (our favorite), cookies and cream, chocolate hazelnut, classic glazed, and the sweet potato (second fave). All exceptional. Highly recommended!

This place had fast and friendly service. Unfortunately the donut quality is just not good. These are not cake donuts, but they are dense and heavy. The texture feels like they were made the day before, and the flavors are not outstanding. There’s also virtually no parking so you should order ahead and pick up if you plan on dining here.

This is a five star review, but with one issue (non-food related) alright as someone who is PRO-KRISPY KREME!!! I have to say I was thoroughly impressed with the taste and texture of the donuts.

The donuts were soft enough, but they really put an emphasis on the donut itself. They all taste like cake. That’s something a lot of donut places DO NOT GET RIGHT!

Very good donuts, I also got a cold brewed coffee, not bad.

My only issue, which again is non-store related. It’s the location, this place is on one of the most narrow and busiest streets. Gotta love Miami’s road infrastructure

You better have a compact car and come early. I do recommend this place though.

Two enthusiastic thumbs up. Fine holiday fun. I had been following their instagram page long before I got down to their shop in Wynwood and it was everything I had hoped it would be. The donuts were fresh and the staff were so warm and friendly. Really glad we were able to get here during this trip.

First time in Texas. First time in Dallas. Recommended by a friend. 100000/10. The donuts don’t just look good but are AMAZING! They have coffee and I got the cold brew and lemonade and it was so surprisingly amazing as well! Richard has amazing customer service and helped me and my friend a lot! He’s so kind and polite! Definitely recommended!

The amount of packaging used here is horrific. Each specialty donut comes in its own cardboard box and my coffee was inexplicably double cupped even though it was only what I would consider “very warm.” I got the plain glazed and the pumpkin spiced cookie butter donuts. The plain glazed was noticeably fresher than the pumpkin spiced cookie butter. Surprisingly, the pumpkin spice and cookie butter flavors don’t really compliment each other, but instead cancel each other out. Service was quick and staff was nice.

Been going to their pop-up location in West Palm Beach that they’ve been doing randomly before they open their store. The donuts are very good. They always seem to have a different variety when they do come. I can’t wait for the location to open up.

Our fave donut spot in Miami. We came here two years ago and the tres leches donut (with the meringue) was juicy and delicious. This time around it was not as moist but everything else was on point!

I absolutely love this place. I made a new Google account but my original account had the reviews of two of their locations when I went the day of their grand opening in Wynnwood and in South Miami. After leaving Miami and coming back to visit for the first time in two years I had to treat myself to some Salty donut. The best part is they always have a vegan donut and dairy free milk options, so eating plant based can still be enjoyable when we visit. I wish I took pictures besides the one attached but it was hard to not dig in right away!

This place was recommended by someone in The Netherlands (thanks dani). So we needed to visit this donutshop while we’re in Miami. This place is definitely worth the travel from Miami downtown. Just take the loop and walk 15minutes from there or take an uber or lyft. Just get there and get one or two of these badboys!
