The Red Fern Reviews

Excellent food and options! Everything is vegan and there are a ton of gluten free options. I tried a lot of desserts and they were all good. They have done in and take out options. Seating is limited so make sure you make a reservation! The staff are very nice and helpful. The wait wasn’t too long, either.

They were busy and it seemed hectic… but the treated us very kindly and gave us great service. Food was excellent. I am thinking even though i am over an hour to get there from where I live- I would consider going back to the town to do something else just to then end up there again. My family and I loved it.

I went to The Red Fern Today and I was very impressed on how the owner took the time and sat with me to help me figure out a meal I could eat with my temporary food restrictions. Also they have separate menus for people who have different food restrictions as well. I have never been to a restaurant that had this before …. I was super impressed!!! they treated me very well and the service was very good. Everyone there was super nice and very helpful. if I could give this place a rating it would be much higher than 5 stars. 🙂

For a person who thoroughly enjoy meat and everything about it, I can fairly say I am very fond of this place. The staff was extremely nice and the food was extremely fresh. I can really taste it was made with effort and love. My favorite thing that I ordered was the Strawberry Alarm Clock (the orange drink). My companion and I ordered the Quesadillas (added mushrooms) and the out the menu special which so happened to be a delicious flatbread. In addition, I had the pleasure to try the chocolate Oreo mint cake and the coconut ice cream peach dessert. YUM!

I could see myself returning here especially since it provides such a lovely atmosphere.

SIDENOTE: you should try the Ginger Citrus Cider

The food was pretty good. I came in 20 minutes before closed. So I didn’t get a chance to eat inside. Had to take it to go… (Mean Manager said no) but I understood… back to the food….I had a garbage plate and it was great.

Excellent food and friendly staff. You will have a great meal whether you are vegan or not. If you are vegan you won’t have to worry about finding what is safe to eat because on this menu you can eat it all. It’s refreshing to have so many choices. Save room for dessert. You’ll thank me later.

The food and vibe sitting outdoors made for an excellent dinner. Our server was very friendly and helpful. I had heard friends talk about Rochester’s “garbage plate,” so I couldn’t help but try the vegan “compost plate.” Every item on the plate was delicious.

Food was excellent and served very quickly. Staff was friendly. I had the vegan compost plate with lentil burger. My friend had the lentil loaf. So good. Very filling!

Good service, nice allergen menu. Wish there was healthier options. Good for people new to vegan food ! This salad with added lentil loaf + kombucha was $23. A bit pricey, good flavor.

I can never go wrong with vegan treats at Red Fern. Love that I can go here and not have to ask if any thing has meat/seafood/dairy in it. I’m more of a cake girl but these V-Day donuts were really good!
