The Kolache Kitchen – Bocage Reviews

This is our second time eating here and both times it was amazing! The employees are very knowledgeable about the food & have the best customer service! When you walk in the door from the front counter to the cook everyone greets you with a smile & very high energy! There’s so many things to choose from & ways to customize your order. This will be our Sunday breakfast stop every Sunday! Thank you Emily, Kaitlyn and Darryl for the amazing experience and great customer service! You all made the difference in the experience. Can’t wait to come back and bring other people!

The young lady at the counter who took my order after countless questions was the absolute sweetest. Best service I’ve ever received in my life! I think her name was Emilia? Eloise? Emily ? I can’t remember but she definitely deserves a raise !

The service is a bunch of low speaking kids. Menu is overpriced for a cocktail weenie in a roll.

A fast-service kolache and empanada shop attached to a newish gas station convenience store. The staff was super friendly and helpful, but the available items were pretty sparse. It was Mardi Gras weekend and they had sold out of all the fruit kolache and several of the savory ones. The ones we had were good. There’s not a huge difference, except shape, between the savory kolaches, rancheros, and empanadas, so just pick the ones with the fillings you prefer. The rancheros (which include egg) seem to have a higher bread-to-filling ratio, the kolaches have the lowest, and the empanadas are in between. The chicken empanadas have a nice jalapeno kick, as do the spicy smoked sausage. The smoked sausage itself isn’t spicy, however, and is a little too hot-dogish for my tastes. The pecan cinnamon rolls (king caked for Mardi Gras) were pretty good.

Just came by there at 1030am 11.3.17 the girl at the front did not once say hi, did not acknowledge us. We stood there for a second, she didn’t ask what we’d like. Nope not one word from her.

We just asked if we can get a spicy sausage kalache, one of the ham and one of the sausage ranchero. Then she finally speaks! Just to tell us the total.

Kalache was good, meat to cheese to bread ratio was great. The ham and cheese ranchero was mostly bread. The sausage and cheese ranchero was mostly eggs. I can tell they’re not consistent with their fillings.

The eggs taste like cheap instant eggs from a carton, the meats taste like diced sandwich deli meat and barely any cheese. Eggs were also dry. Wasn’t a fan of the ranchero at all. We will be back for the kalache though.

I ordered 1 spicy cheese bounding, 1 cream cheese kolache, 1 fruit and cheese kolache, and 1 vietnamese ice coffee. The food was cold, has a small amount of filling in them, and my fruit and cheese kolache has no cheese.

Very rude workers who give dirty looks and act like they don’t have time for customers. Food is VERY overpriced and the menus online are not accurate. I won’t return. I don’t recommend this place.

The breakfast taco was good, but was disappointed in the classic sausage kolaches. They were hollow in the inside with a small sausage inside of it.

Delicious Breakfast Tacos served until 2 on Sat. Great selection of Kolache & Sweet Pastries! +. They treated this first timer to samples of Kolacheis on the house Thank You

Food was great and the staff was polite and courteous. This was my first time eating here I had a boudin kolache and potatoe, egg and cheese breakfast taco. The salsa was tasty also.
