The Donut Stop Reviews

Mike Chickanosky

Have been a donut stop regular for some time now. Recently I needed to place a bulk order (~450 donuts) for an event. The Donut Stop staff was accommodating, kind and thorough. The donuts were ready when I arrived for pick up. The donuts were fresh and incredibly good (as usual). Even if it’s a bit of a drive for you to get here, trust me, it’s worth the trip.

Took this place for granted, as they’re close to home and I assumed all donuts were this good. After some inedible donuts from another highly rated donut joint, I appreciate you!!!

So many good choices but the apple fritter, chocolate custard and cinnamon glob are outstanding!

My parents brought me here since I was a child. I now live in French Village and still come here to “The Donut Stop” for our Donuts!! Best Donuts Ever! I buy enough to freeze some, and they are still delicious!
You keep making them and I’ll keep driving 45 minutes to buy and enjoy them! Thanks for decades of Happy tastebuds.

I don’t even understand why people are saying these donuts are so good because they’re really not anything out of the ordinary. They were dry, the shop is itself is rundown and the worker was not very friendly and looked dirty. She definitely looked like she didn’t like her job. If you want FABULOUS donuts go to John’s Donuts in Soulard. We went before we came here but they were closed until Sunday. Please don’t waste your money here.

Ordered a donut cake for my son’s 9th birthday & it did not disappoint! The cake was light & delicious! It was the perfect size for our party. Our guests raved about how.good it was! Our little doesn’t like cake nor cupcakes so this was perfect.

I’m picky when it comes to my donuts, but I have not had a bad one yet at The Donut Stop. They are perfection! I’m working on trying every flavor but there are so many options! It’s taking a long time. Good problem to have

Hands down best donut spot in all of Missouri!! Workers are super friendly and donuts are always delicious! I always bring a big box to work because everyone loves them.

Call ahead, and reserve a peanut butter flavor filled donut with chocolate topping(think icing filled type peanut butter Reese’s cup). The sugar high, and the deliciousness willl make you fly.

This was my first experience The Donut Stop. A coworker brought in donuts, and she invited me to try some. I had the Vanilla Long John and the Apple Fritter. The Vanilla Long John has solid flavor, and it was a bit denser than other Long Johns that I have had. The vanilla icing had a great sweetness. The Apple Fritter was pretty solid. I am not a big Apple Fritter fan, but there weren’t too many options left for me to choose from. This Apple Fritter had generous apple slices. Ultimately, I would get it again.

Frankly, given my love for Pharaoh’s Donuts, I never would have thought to come here. I’d like to go here to get fresh donuts in my favorite flavors to compare this to other donut shops. Pharaoh’s Donuts is definitely superior to The Donut Stop, but this is a solid option for sure in St. Louis if you need donuts.
