The Coffee Fox – Broughton St. Reviews

Amazing coffee shop with many different kinds of savory & sweet pastries, including vegan options. Loved the Churro muffin! The cafe con leche was pretty good. The decor on the inside is very cute with some seating, but a great place to grab and go. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re exploring historic Savannah!

Stopped in at lunch time for a quick snack and cup of coffee. As this was our first time at this shop the barista made some great suggestions for iced drinks. I ended up choosing an iced coffee drink with horchata which was delicious! We tried the crumble bar which was also super tasty! Super cool interior, but not a lot of seating available so this is a more grab and go type store.

For the morning i was strolling along the streets of Savannah and I wanted to have a quick coffee around me. I searched around me and decided to have coffee at the Coffee fox. It is a small cafe with an amazing atmosphere, authentic coffee house with a beautiful decor. They give freshly brewed coffee and after browsing through the menu I decided to order Mexican Mocha. I got my coffee in 10 minutes. The coffee was hot and freshly brewed. Loved the cafe and the vibes of the cafe.

This place was soooooo good! The horchata latte make me walk a mile to get it several times on my weekend trip to Savannah, and it’s enough for me to plan another vacation. I don’t know how they did it. I go to coffee shops all over the country, and this is one of the best coffees I have ever had. It’s incredible! I will be back for more coffee!

What they lack in speed, it took almost 15 minutes to get our coffees, they make up in great preparation and taste of the caffeine drinks and freshness of the scones. Very chill atmosphere, authentic coffee house decor and no pretense of what they aren’t. It’s a coffee house first, period, and that’s what I liked.

It is charming/trendy and the folks are nice. The drinks are maybe pricey but very good. They have a great selection of beer and tea (you have to ask for the tea menu). Also a good workspace when they aren’t busy!

Excellent shop for coffee, loved the atmosphere, service and the options not just for coffee but croissants, muffin etc. the location is in the middle of downtown and it was a stone throw from where we were staying. Again here the next day to try the Mexican mocha !!

Being that Milwaukee has a lot of great local roasters, I’m a pretty tough grader. The drip Foxy Blend was passable. Inoffensive, medium roast, middle of the road. Not overly nuanced, but not Folgers either. Didn’t try the prepared drinks. The kolach was OK value at $4. A risen bun with the mildest of sweetness, it depends very much on the topping for flavor. A fantastic location is the main draw, with a line out the door even outside tourist season.

Had a cappuccino and the Mexican Mocha. The Mocha was very good but with a heck of a kick. The cappuccino was not the best. The milk was done perfectly and I think the espresso was fine, not bitter or burnt. The problem was it just got lost in the milk which left a very bland drink, much like a latte. Maybe the roast was a tad too light but also the extra 2oz of milk didn’t help (they serve it as a 8oz drink). Still 4 stars because I think it’s a quality shop. If I go back I would get the cortado for sure.

Coffee Fox has been our go to spot for coffee in Savannah for many years. Still quite busy, however the cappuccino was way too hot. The drip coffee was good and the blueberry, fig crumble was delicious. I’m not saying I won’t go again, I do hope they get back that attention to detail and customer service that we loved for many years. 4th star added because of past quality and the baked goods.
