Swiss Bakery Reviews

Literally the best baked goods in town!! I especially love their frissants and creme brulee croissants – Swiss Bakery never disappoints 🙂

Also love that they have a cup-sharing option for when you forget your reusable mug!

We came looking for treats today, and we were met with a variety of all kinds of bakery goods and desserts. Tough decisions! We came for doughnuts mainly though, so we sampled 4 of those and couldn’t resist 2 of the croissants as well. The jelly and custard doughnuts were lovely – light and rich with perfect sugar coating. The apple fritter was tasty but a bit oily. The glazed doughnut was also pretty good. Of the croissants though, we were surprised. The double baked almond croissant was gorgeous on the outside – we expected it to be filled, and to our dismay, it was not! The croissant was plain inside. However, the spring-y croissant, with pink stripes, did not disappoint – it had a delicious creamy strawberry filling inside. Overall a positive experience, and we would come back to try more treats in the future!

This place is one of my favorites! They have delicious and remarkable baguettes! Other bread shops had them as well but for me the baguettes at this place were incomparable. It was my favorite. It was so crispy, fresh and delicious. Their sandwich tasted great too!

I picked up a Swiss Bakery Pretzel and Pretzel Bun from Wholefoods, they are super yummy and I absolutely love them!! So much I have to make a trip to their bakey which I am sure is awesome.
They’re great as a snack or even I used some Avocado, egg, spinach, tomatoes and cracked black pepper with chilli flakes to make the most epic Pretzel sandwich know to mankind!
Wholefoods themselves do a great Support network or selling local Vancouver-based business produce which is awesome!
Support your local businesses!

This pastry shop is just next to my office on East 04th and a pretty normal place for a quick snack. Operated by few nice young people and I am always greeted well. Medium to Heavy food available. As a frequent customer, small discount is given for each purchase. Patio available during summer and sometimes provide free soup on Friday..

My first Cronut. LoL! Great service, if I ever go back to Vancouver… Would probably drop by again to try the others…

First time we went to this bakery shop was in an afternoon, not much too choose from, almost out. Second time we were here again, love their double almond croissant, even though the filling is a bit too sweet for me. Was looking to buy their four cheese frissant, but wasn’t in. They do change their frissant flavour each month.

One of the best places for pastries, sandwiches, wraps, and other baked goods. Ask for the sandwiches to be toasted and they are come out hot and crispy from the panini grill. Home if the cronut – a cross between a croissant and a deep fried donut. Also serves coffees. Outdoor seating is available and staff are friendly.

The Quinoa Salad with Kale is delicious. Their Pretzels too. Pastry looks awesome and I can’t wait to try more. Friendly relaxed atmosphere. Bread looks great too. Five stars, definitely.

We’ve been coming here for years, all because of the “frissant” (or cronut), which is like a mix between a donut and croissant. They are incredibly delicious, as are the giant pretzels. For a limited time, they also have two delicious and decadent chocolate drinks (on top of the usual coffee based beverages. It’s a little tucked away, but well worth the trip.
