I originally emailed about a cake inquiry for a co workers work baby shower. I received a quick response and was told when I was ready to call and place my order. I placed and paid over the phone back in May for a cake in July. I went to pick it up with zero issues. The cake was exactly as I requested and was a baby shower hit! The inside was white cake w/ a icing filling. It wasn’t too sweet and was very moist and tasty! There wasn’t a piece left. Highly recommend and will be returning for other events!

I finally made it to this bakery as normally they’re closed by time I make it to the area.They sure did not disappoint and at 30 min til closing they were pretty busy. They had plenty of staff to assist and did it with a smile. I controlled myself only purchasing 2 cookies and a cupcake. Well they didn’t last more than 6 hours and was very light and not too sweet. Cookies were soft and moist and the cupcake melts in your mouth..

Our absolute favorite bakery!! This place has been there for us in our important moments. They made our wedding cake and just made our rainbow baby announcement cake. We live in the Lake Norman area and don’t mind commuting almost an hour because their desserts and cakes are incredible and can’t be beat!! Thank you Suarez Bakery for your talent and great service!!

Loved the cake and cupcakes here! I ordered 12 cupcakes half vanilla fudge cupcakes with rainbow sprinkles and half of the brownie cupcakes. Then for the cake I ordered the strawberry chiffon cake and chose the palette design with a panthers blue color and silver designs on the outside. The cake was beautiful and the taste was amazing the cake in the inside was vanilla and was very moist even after the second day. It was filled with a strawberry cream and pieces of real strawberries in it. The customer service was great and even the ordering of the baked goods were perfect too. I Highly recommend this place for desserts and pastries!

I’ve heard from numerous friends how amazing this bakery is, decided to try it for the first time today for my aunt’s 30th! I love how convenient the same day online order pickup is so you’ll know which cake are in stock + how easy it is to jot down a note to ask them to write little scriptures on the cake! I purchased the 6 inch chocolate raspberry cake and it is deliiciousss! So moist and sweet! I can assure you that Suarez cakes will be an annual birthday cake for everyone in the family now.

We recently ordered a cake and donuts for my son’s Bar Mitzvah from Suarez Bakery and it was fantastic. Cake was moist and delicious, not overly sweet. And donuts were a hit as well. They were great to work with as well. Highly recommend!

I ordered a cake for my sister’s bridal shower and can I say OH MY GOODNESS!!!! That was the best tasting cake I have ever had!!!!! Next time I’m in Charlotte, I’m going to order a cake for “just because”. That’s how good it was.

Their vegan doughnuts are absolutely amazing and in my opinion, better than non-vegan doughnuts. The cakes and cupcakes I’ve tried from there have been moist, very nicely decorated and have good flavor. The one star deduction is for their sugar cookies. They were hard and flavorless. We wound up tossing them out. Otherwise, love to go to Suarez whenever I can!

We have been using this place on and off for nearly 20 years. My wife loves it. So we decided to get her birthday cake here. Went to the store to pick out and order a cake. After waiting in line it was my turn and I was told they will not take my order, I need to do it myself online. And if I had nothing else, NEXT! Kind of like the Seinfeld episode about the Soup Naiz guy.
Just because I eat cakes, does not mean I know anything about how they’re built or how to order them. So I left and I called. Very unhelpful lady picked up demanding exact time, exact hour, I will pickup after I told her we needed it by the end of Friday. Then we move on to the cake, where I was expected to know exactly what I wanted, and instead of helping me with the selection, told me I need to go look at it online because she does not have time to explain. Real nice customer service touch.
Shame.
Our local Harris’s Teeter has infinitely better customer service in their bakery department. Much sweeter and no arrogance.
If you want horrible UX for high dollar, welcome to Suarez!
Or just walk to the other side of the building, and enjoy something from Amelie’s Bakery.

We did get the cake at the end of the week. Little soggy and runny on the inside.
