Early one morning stopped in craving a donut before an appointment. It was closest donut shop near me. The neighborhood and environment is sketchy. I know, it was near where my grandfather lived in the heart of 5th Ward, so I visited often as a kid. But, to my surprise donuts were fresh, not greasy & light. Best, I’ve had in a long time. Despite prices being a tad bit higher than expected I will be back to try some other items.

Snowflake has been around since the early 70’s. You don’t last in this community unless your customer service or product is not a 10. They will always serve hot donuts or ask if you want your kolaches warmed. Best of all if you call close to closing time they will wait for you. Hot fluffy donuts. You know you want one, or two, or……
