Taste was excellent. Genuinely a cut above other Shipley’s I have been to around the state. Customer service was above and beyond. If you’re thinking of going elsewhere for your donut and Kolache needs, don’t. This is the place.

Came here to get coffee. Waited in the Drive Thru window for 7 mins watching employees walk arnd, look at me, serve customers inside, etc. Guy who helped me was nice but I hope the owner updates their procedures here. The coffee was good.

Shipleys Donuts in The Colony donuts are hard & steal. Very horrible donuts and I see why there are no cars in the parking lot The Colony location. The Shipleys Donuts store in Mckinney, TX stay busy and packed out every day. Shipleys Donuts in Mckinney Donuts are fresh and the people are friendly.

Stopped by today and was impressed with the variety of donuts – several cake donuts, filling options, etc (the fruity pebbles one was particularly tasty!). The location itself was also really big (compared to other Shipleys I’ve been to), clean, had a drive-thru and the staff was chatty/nice which is always a plus! Will definitely be back 🙂

Updated review (08.05.22) – visited this morning on my way back home. The owner is friendly as always. However, I was disappointed in the sickly looking bold sausage jalapeño kolache. These are not what I am used too. They looked undercooked. I had to put these in the oven. Shaking my head today… .
Updated review part 2 – (08.05.22) – I just spoke with the owner this morning, after I left a voicemail. He called me within (30) minutes. He also apologized and refunded my money. I will definitely give these guys another try. I’ve been going to this location for over 2 years without issues.
5 star service.
Donuts and Kolaches are good. Staff is friendly and prices reasonable. I’ve already been to this new location twice.

I would normally give Shipley’s five stars because it’s one of my favorites but this time it was not so great, I couldn’t quite tell if the donuts were undercooked or overcooked they were kind of wavy and didn’t seem to have that much glaze on them however I will not give up because like I said they are one of my top five favorites it was just probably a bad day for one of us.
