Salvatore’s Old Fashioned Pizzeria Reviews

Normally the food from here is excellent but this time the order took over an hour to receive and they obviously need to temp the oil and/or change it due to fries and chicken being way overcooked and barely edible. They either need better time management with cooking food or a better shift manager. having ran multiple kitchens in my 13 year tenure in the food industry I would have never let that leave my kitchen looking like that no matter what!

First time I ever went to Salvatore’s at donut delights. Excellent pizza. A little pricey but you get what you pay for and it’s a good pizza for the price. Even the leftovers were good. Will definitely go back, and we’ll always recommend Salvatore’s pizzeria.

I work for a transportation company that is nearby, and we always order from this location; the food and service is  normally top notch.

Decided to order a slice of pizza for myself, boneless chix wings, and a dozen donuts.  I ordered way ahead of time (on-line) to do a pick-up.  The place was pretty busy so I was happy I ordered ahead of time.

Needless to say, order was not ready, waited over 1/2 hour.  I normally don’t  complain, but when I got home the pizza was so oily, I soaked it up with 3 paper towels, the same with the boneless  chix.
I took a bite of each, and threw in the garbage.

On a good note, the donuts were awesome, and the young lady out front was very nice, and apologetic.  Normally I’d leave a decent tip, but the wait was way too long, especially when I saw others coming in AFTER me being served rather quickly, and some had pre-ordered as well.

Once is enough for me, and  I’ll unlikely  order for my company again anytime soon; hopefully things will change soon.

A family member of mine moved to the neighborhood near the Culver/Waring Rd store and we have ordered dinner from them a couple times. Both times were not a good experience. The first time we ordered steak sandwiches and the steak was so skimpy that all you could taste was the bread. Most recently, we ordered the twin thin European style pizzas. They were terrible. Not only were they barely warm, but they were so thin and soggy. There is nothing European about them. One of our dinner mates IS European and she agrees. The onion rings were really good, but the fries were greasy and limp. Needless to say we were very disappointed. Won’t be going there any longer.

The reason I give this place a 5 is not every restaurants perfect but the people who are working their do try.
Jenna and Hannah are great girls at the counter and I wish I could’ve met the people behind the scenes too.
Thank you for showing up to work and making my wait fun and comfortable and worth it you guys are really awesome ladies and workers .We couldn’t have a good experience with out you

I used to come here before covid. When it’s busy. The food comes out amazing and quick. I came at 1230 pm dining room only had a couple people in it . It took over 30 minutes and my eggs were so over cook there was no yolk in it . Then my toast was so tiny and they didn’t even butter it. I told the waitress and she offered to remake the eggs which I did not have time to wait another 30 minutes . No discount was implied and what was more upsetting you can hear the kitchen laughing at their mistakes. No manager coming out and apologizing. What a shame

We were told our pizza would be delivered in 45 minutes. Actually it was ready in 35! Unfortunately the girl taking the order got our house number wrong. The driver called to make sure he had the right address. He apologized and brought it over with a few donuts for our trouble. He was so sweet. We gave him a good tip. Loved it! Thanks.

Great service, but weak pizza. Hardly any sauce at all and just bland crust. Hallmark of Salvatore’s. They deserve credit for being friendly and welcoming at the store though.

Placed an order for pickup and when I arrived they were out of almost everything I ordered. No one called me or I would have ordered something else.

Having a hard time since they decided to open a new location. Used to be the best in walking distance.
