I was excited to go to this place as I had never had a beignet. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted. Our beignets were brought out pipping hot and topped with a beautiful mountain of powdered sugar. (I choose the large “finger” plate) They were heaven!!! My husband said they were every bit as good as Cafe du Monde. The owners made sure several times that all was good and that we were happy. I already can’t wait for my next trip here to visit again!!!

My family and I came down to help with the hurricane relief and wanted to try some authentic beignets in Baton Rouge. We got the beignets, fingers, and were brought complimentary toes to try. They were all delicious and the fry was absolutely perfect. The insides were fluffy and perfectly complimented the taste. A few of those in my party have had the famous beignets in New Orleans, but we all agreed these were the best! I’d dare say these rivaled Tiana’s beignets in The Princess and the Frog. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating.

We visit this place twice a week, (I only go on Friday). The owner deserves 5 stars because he treats everyone who walks in like royalty! On our birthday, he gave us a beignet with a candle in it lit! He played happy birthday on his piano and wishes my husband and I happy birthday. We have birthdays 3 days apart.
I would recommend this place to everyone I see. The beignets are delicious and made hot when you come in

We were on our way home to Albuquerque from New Orleans when I realized I NEEDED a beignet. So I Googled and found this place. We turned around to come back and I’m soooo happy we did! This place is so much better than cafe du Monde! Fresher, hotter, bigger and better tasting! Just delicious! And the owner was super sweet as well. Gave is extra fingers and toes!
