Old Fashion Donuts Reviews

The absolute best raspberry powdered donut. The cake donut was good too. The price was even better.. about a buck each.

Pretty average donut shop. I wouldn’t say that I tasted anything particularly special, but what I did have was great. The donuts were cheap and tasted like they had been baked that day. It’s nice that it’s local, and they have community coffee!

A hidden gem. Reminds me of the donut shops in LA. Everything is good here . Biscuits … croissants… and lovely customer service.

I am a fan of a fresh donut and kolache any chance I can, so this place is a hidden gem for anyone who has never noticed it. Hole-in-the-wall spot that has some of the best prices and easily my top 3 best tasting baked goods. From apple fritters, kolaches, and original glazed this is the top spot for the best variety of baked items.

Really love this place! The staff are really nice and their food even nicer! I am glad I took the time to go and try this place out.
There drive through survice was quick and thorough.
I had ordered a egg sandwich for breakfast and two kolachies for later (later came fast) and they where delicious, the breads was soft and buttery, the eggs in my sandwich where not overly salty or over/undercooked. They where perfectly flavourful! And the meat in my kolachies was yummy as well.
As for the fruit kolachies (yes fruit kolachies) I can honestly say that I wish I had bought more to share. My favorite is the cream cheese and the apple kolachi (I have no clue if I am spelling this correctly), I do recommend that if you decide to get a fruit kolachi, to not eat anything sweet or with bread for the rest of the day, those things are delicious and pack a punch.
The only real problem I have is that this place is a little out of the way and if you’re not careful you can pass it pretty easily if you’re not paying attention to where you’re going, otherwise I definitely recommend this place.

I’ve been looking for a good donut place for a while. I’ve had no luck with several others in town, so, I figured it was time to drive slightly further out from my house. Let me tell you, the five extra minutes to get to this place is well worth it! I couldn’t wait until I got home to try the cinnamon old fashioned, so, I took a bite on the way – it was gone before I was home and now I’m sad I didn’t order two. The cream cheese kolache and sausage kolaches are also the best I’ve tried! Top knotch. If you’re trying to find a good donut place, this is it. Also, the lady is super sweet – added bonus!

How I’ve driven past this place for 6 years, I don’t know! Thanks to Google Maps, I finally found it!! Best donuts in all of San Antonio!!! The people are so friendly too!

OMG !!!! I MISS THIS PLACE SO SO SO MUCH !!!! My husband would go here once a week – for almost a year – and then we had to move 🙁 they would always give us a dozen donut holes for puppies !!!! I wish they could’ve moved with us .. the donuts out here in Florida suck !¡!

Great selections
Eclair was stuffed
Tiger Tail was flavorful
Apple Fritter top notch!

Their donuts are great but this morning I arrived to pickup donuts and they were closed despite their posted hours saying they open at 5am. Very inconvenient and had to drive to HEB to get donuts.
