This place has the best bagels—and bagel sandwiches—in town. They do Montreal style, so they get the wood fired treatment. They’re perfect!

Donuts are great as well, and the seasonal selections are thoughtful and innovative. The chewiness of the donuts is not my favorite in the city, but the flavor is on point.

GO HERE FOR BAGELS, even if you’re not into donuts!

This place had great donuts and good customer service. My breakfast sandwich was filling. If you like donuts this place is worth checking out. Not sure if they had all the seating removed or if it was temporarily off limits. But there was absolutely no where to sit. Kind of silly the venue was filled with guests patiently standing in a cramped isle with no where to eat or sit. Also no napkins available. I’d recommend checking this place out but don’t plan on eating on site.

Easily might be the best bagel I’ve had in San Diego! Wow the rosemary sea salt is next level good and the cream cheese selection is awesome. This place is a must visit for breakfast.

Not long wait. That’s about it. Donuts were bland and have very little flavor. Base dough was very thick and once cooked, very oily. You can taste the oil just as much as the flavors. Could barely distinguish the difference between maple, vanilla bean, and guava donuts due to oil and dough flavors overpowering. Don’t see the hype with this place. Similar to donut bar, poor base dough trying to be masked with flavors. Wife and I did not finish eating them.

The donuts are light and fluffy. Not too sweet which I really liked. I got the ube, s’mores, strawberry rhubarb pie and watermelon lime. All four are really good!

Best donut shop in SD!
Is it worth it to drive 20 min and be at their door at 7 am? 100% yes!
Is it worth it to wait every month for the new menu and flavors? 100% yes!
You can not go wrong with any Donut/Bagel/Sandwich/Coffee from this place. Just go early and go again and again and again

Really amazing vegan options in the North Park area if you’re vegan!

Staffs friendly – unfortunately with COVID the wait times are a little longer because they can only allow a few people in the shop.. and if you arrive later in the morning the line can go outside and you’ll bake in the sun. Recommend wearing a hat or something to shield you from baking. . The wait is totally worth it, though!

The new B’Rad Sandwich menu is awesomeeeee!!
I had the Montreal Smoked Meat (with Jackfruit… yeah Jackfruit) and the Super Smashed Burger (with vegan patty) over the last two days for lunch. Both bagels were the bomb.
I can only recommend any of the sandwiches to meat lovers and vegan diet people!!!
Oh and pick up a donut on the way out

The bagel sandwiches here are THE BEST!! I have braces and the bagels are so soft the sandwiches are easy to eat with them. ALSO, the blueberry cake donut is amazing! The people know me by name and everyone is very friendly.

AMAZING Doughnuts! They have unique flavors, and I love that there are just as many vegan doughnuts as regular ones. Fast and friendly service. Great location. I’m visiting San Diego and bought a patch to sport around at home. 🙂
