What happened to your soda fountain? So disappointed they took this out!
Other than the soda machine disappearing, the taste of the donuts is always fresh and flavorful. Staff always gives me a few donut holes at no cost. I think the glazed donuts and the chocolate glazed with sprinkles are the best – lighter dough, not too dense and flavorful.
The cashier remembers me even if it’s been a year since my previous visit – where does that happen? Very loyal staff.

You gotta try their sausage rolls, apple fritters, cinnamon rolls. I miss all the staff there and the sweetest owner! The price is totally reasonable.

A mustang donuts is an awesome small business that every SMU student knows of. They’ve been open since my own Dad went to SMU more than 20 years ago! Their donuts are awesome and the workers are always super kind! They give extra donut holes for every purchase !!

Consistently the best donuts I’ve had. Have both cake and fried. Simple, no fuss.
They do take card now, which is great! But I kind of miss the cash-only aspect, it was part of the charm for me.

Far and away the best donuts we’ve ever had, in fact the only donuts my kids will eat. Seriously, they turn their nose up at the krispy kreme at church. Staff is friendly and helpful and have even special made donuts for us if they were out of the kind we wanted. (photo taken pre-covid)

This donut shop needs a Cash Only sign on the front door. They need to evolve and take debit/credit cards. Especially during covid it would be smart to handle less cash.
