This place is MAD COOL! This place is friendly for vegan, dairy free and gluten-free too. I got cake batter/Blue moon twist add to topping is puppy chow, peanut butter bark and peanut. My partner got vanilla/chocolate twist add to topping PB monster dough include vegan rainbow waffle. So so good. Highly recommend STOP BY!
Faux
Affordable, lots of topping options and fun pre-made cones, quick service. The toppings are also placed within the soft serve which rarely any place does. Place can get extremely busy (lines out the door). Minimum base flavors, especially non-dairy options. Clean inside and plenty of room outside by the brewery.

Fun atmosphere with so many ice cream topping options!! Three basic ice cream flavors (chocolate, vanilla, twist) and three vegan flavors. I loved the dynamic of the slightly salty cookie dough against the sweet ice cream. Lots of seating outdoors in front of the building (or have a beer next door at Able with your ice cream). Bonus: bike racks out front!

The only place I get soft serve from. They always have 4 flavors available; chocolate & vanilla, and two vegan flavors they rotate between, such as cake batter, salted caramel, dark chocolate. They have tons of topping options, including more vegan options. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area!

Place is okay. Only 4 flavors with the option to twist 2 of the 2 flavors. The options were Vanilla and Chocolate. Vegan/DF were Cake Batter and Blue Moon. They have a lot of cool topping options all for an extra charge of 0.50 or 0.75 cents each. I ordered Cake Batter and Blue Moon twist and I was really disappointed. I thought they tasted very salty and flavors were faint. Everyone in my group (6 of us) all agreed those flavors were very salty and not very good. It also had an interesting texture, kind of a smooth grittiness? I probably wouldn’t go back. The shop was cute and in a good locations located by breweries.

One of our favorite ice cream places in the cities! It’s not often you come across a place with such fun soft serve flavors – but what really makes MN Nice Cream fun is their toppings. They’re not your ordinary toppings – they’ve got every topping you can imagine. My personal favorite are the edible glitter and the toasted marshmallows. This is a must-stop.

Stumbled on to this cute and fun place. Not only the workers but everyone in this store was smiling but how can you not getting ice cream on a beautiful Minnesota summer day? For soft serve, shocking variety of different elaborate ice cream sunday creations and cones. I don’t think I’ve ever been to an ice cream place that had such fun combinations. Each ice cream creation is a work of art! Delightfully colored inside, and just fun to be there and order. It was even more fun watching the kids delight as they pick up their ice cream creations! It’s set to adjacent to an open plaza area that is shared with the next door brewery, so it was fun eating our ice cream on a park bench listening to music and enjoying the beautiful weather. Even a food truck, barbecue. Variety of people from families, to couples, to old folks.
The Earth Stars
The soft serve ice cream itself is solid…why this places deserves 5 stars is the atmosphere, staff, and wow factor on the toppings. I ordered the large Cookie Monster in a waffle cone. It was absolutely delicious with legit cookie dough! I thought I had died and gone to cookie heaven. This place is a must try. Parking can be a bit difficult, so pay attention as to where there is free and pay parking. Otherwise…this place is a definite must try.

MN Nice Cream is so good! Their cookie dough topping is honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. I always get it. Their topping options are really fun, delicious, and unique, and the shop is super cute for photo ops! To be honest, I don’t love the vegan ice cream options they’re not as creamy as the dairy ones (makes sense); but, if I feel like the vegan flavors would be awesome if I didn’t eat dairy. Either way, still a big fan. And I mean, free glitter?!?!
NE Minneapolis is great in general, and I love that this pop icon ice cream shop is in my favorite part of the city! Keep an eye out for the small mouse homes on walls when you’re there
