GREAT place to get donuts. I was pleasantly surprised that the donuts here are on par if not better quality than some of the larger chain stores. Get there early for the best selection.

Great donut shop the lady qt the front desk and really nice and helpful. Donuts taste amazing you can tell they are made fresh! Also tried the cinnamon roll and pig in the blanket which were good. Ghe cinnamon roll jad this perfect softness to it qmd the flavors were perfect great spot will be back!!! #krispykremekiller

This is my favorite donut shop in Charlotte. It’s nothing fancy but the flavors are awesome. The donut holes and apple fritter are my favorites. The fritter is HUGE and they usually toss in a few donut holes to whatever you order.

I’m really surprised at all these raving reviews. Maybe I caught them on an off day… I got a chocolate covered cream filled donut, cinnamon glazed twist and pig in a blanket. There was nothing special about the cinnamon twist, it was mediocre at best; the pig in the blanket was stale and my husband’s chocolate covered cream filled donut hardly had any cream in it. I wanted to visit a non-chain donut shop because typically they have better quality but honestly Krispy Kreme or Dunkin’ Donuts would have been better than this. 2 stars because they threw in some donut holes for free which I thought was a nice gesture but these donuts were just not good.

Apple Fritter, light, tasty, and apples. Very good. On occasion they make Cronuts. Do not hesitate. I have been coming here since Kolache was part of their name. They still make a Hot Dog Kolache. The dog and pastry balance each other well. And always a bag of Donut Holes with my order.

It wasn’t even 9:30am and they were closed because they were out of donuts. The one star isn’t entirely based on MJ’s continuous inability to meet demand, but the fact there are hardly any donut options (besides DD and Krispy Kreme) in the area. If there was another donut option nearby, MJ wouldn’t be anything special.

Visiting from Florida and my bro in law told me about this place and how really good it was and it’s minutes from their house. Decided to try it out for breakfast for the family. It’s a simple spot..nothing fancy and a well organized display case of the various doughnuts and other pastries she offered. I got a variety of them and I must say these are one of the best doughnuts I have eaten. The taste and flavor were perfect and stayed soft for 3 days. Definitely worth a try and highly recommend them!!!
