We had LeBakery do our wedding cakes in July of 2021 and were thoroughly disappointed in their service. They changed ownership twice since our original booking and actually lost our entire order and were lucky that the date was still open. Our wedding cake was leaning severely within the first hour after delivery. The room it was placed in was air conditioned and well within a reasonable temperature. It also sprang a leak of the raspberry jam filling in the side of the cake and we had to turn it around to hide it from our guests. The sheet cakes we ordered for serving were dry and had entirely too much frosting on tip. They also chose to decorate the carrot cakes with buttercream piping on the edges despite the fact that there was a darker cream cheese frosting on the top and sides. We reached out via email and phone call multiple times, asked to speak to the manager that was conveniently always out of the building, and it’s now been a year with no response. Communication was horrible and impossible throughout the entire experience. Absolutely do not recommend this business

This bakery is absolutely one of the best in town. The customer service is always very helpful and friendly. It’s so nice to be able to get fresh bread in the morning and the chocolate croissants are amazing.

Thanks to the Staff @ LeBakery today, for the delicious desserts for my office. Amazing Key Lime Pie, yummy cookies & cinnamon rolls!!!

We tasted/ordered our red velvet and carrot cake Wedding Cake from LeBakery. Both tasted AMAZING! We gave them a picture of what we wanted, and they were able to reproduce it to the finest details! The mini donuts were the icing on the cake for me. Photo Credit: Dan Reynolds Photography.

I had not been to Le Bakery for several months. Today I found myself very disappointed at the drastic decline in the quality of the baked goods. I bought eclairs, which were delicious in the past. Today the pastry crust was stiff and stale-seeming, barely edible. When I had a piece of the cherry pie I got today I found that the formerly delicious, flaky crust has been replaced by a soggy mess which left a bad taste in my mouth. This pie was no better than the cheapest of grocery store pies. I am always willing to pay top price for top quality, but today I felt genuinely ripped off.

First timer here; it was a pleasant experience. The shop itself is small but loaded with treats from wall to wall! The three people in my party were separate paying customers, and we felt like we were in the way when other customers came in because we wanted to shop a bit, wanting to take it all in since we live an hour and a half away.
I did my research on Google before visiting, and I knew of the coupon on their website stating “10% off bread on Wednesday”; so by all means make sure to check the site daily as coupons change, and make sure to mention the coupon because I didn’t know I had to and I didn’t receive my $1 off (making my loaf the full $10.00). My party and I spent a decent amount of time there (and a decent amount of money) even after our breakfast at the 50’s Diner!
LeBakery should sample their bread for customers because it is superior! My group headed to Hyvee (after visiting Pottstown also — while we were here), and at Hyvee, we found a Vienna loaf for $3, so I purchased it also. We did a taste-test, slice for slice, Le Bakery won for freshness, it was ‘pillowy’ and airy; it had the perfect bake time, and the crust was flavorful and not overdone; it had a great chew; and the flavor was authentic. Was it worth $7 more dollars than HyVee? Perhaps on a special occasion. I support small business, but they could also support their customers by A.) honoring the coupon they advertise and B.) Posting the prices and don’t seem agitated when we ask for clarity, (in my case, I didn’t know how much until I read the receipt — I don’t like to have to ask) and C.) Samples! The bread will sell itself! (They could collaborate and cross advertise with the “Olio and Vino” shop (also pricey but highly recommend)!.
As for customer service: the gentleman at LeBakery was attentive and he offered to cut my bread, which I was very pleased to have as an option. He took care of all of my members, and two random customers that came in after without making anyone feeling overlooked or less important even before the lady attendant came to back him up. On the other hand, Hyvee has similar customer service, but more people available to serve, and yet somehow I can still can feel as if I’m bumped or overlooked when just one more customer shows up to Hyvee’s counter. Strange.
I will visit again while I’m in the area for procedures at OSF. ALL of the shops in this plaza were worth a visit, certainly raised my spirits! LeBakery helped set the bar; I will be back.

Very friendly owners. Happy to see this place operating and baking fresh daily. Love the cupcakes. The cookies are good too although a little traditional for my liking.

We ordered a sheet cake for my daughter’s birthday and honestly the cake was on par with what you can get at a grocery store. Also I asked for Minnie Mouse decorations and all I got was a plastic figurine and a few other cheap things. Will not be ordering a cake from here again. However we did get some cookies and they were very good.

We got a slice of cheesecake and the mousse cake. My daughter inhaled the cheesecake and the mousse cake just melted in your mouth, SO tasty!
