We were lucky enough to be next in line when a fresh batch arrived on a busy thanksgiving week trip. I ordered 3 donuts for 8 people. 2 easily would’ve been enough. These things were massive. They were fresh and delicious and I’m really glad we got them. We took the last one back to the hotel to enjoy later. Which was fine, but of course, taste best fresh!

We ordered the Big Pink, mostly to say that we tried it. Our expectations were low, specially because we bought it late into the evening. However, we were very surprised of how good this donut was. It was very soft and very very tasty. We were pretty blown away with the quality of the pastry as a whole. This is a must try at this park. We took it back to our AirBnB and had enough for another 2 desserts. Enjoy y’all!

Can you go to Universal without getting a Lard Lad donut… Nope! Great sharing snack between a family and just behind the stand is a hidden away seating area. Perfect for a little break and to people watch around the lake!

One of the more affordable options for ice cream and coffee. If you are not fan of the Simpsons you can still enjoy the sweet deserts. But for anyone that watches the Simpsons you will love the show references.

I was hesitant to buy a Lard Lad donut, but the kids insisted. I was sure it would be a terrible tasting, cardboard textured donut that I would regret buying. However, I was really surprised at how moist and tasty the donut was. Now, we buy one to split amongst the family every time we visit. Yes, I said split between the family. The donut is HUGE! One donut will easily feed 2-3 people.

The worst donut I’ve ever had. It was way overpriced and legitimately tasted so old like rock hard cardboard. I actually spit it out! Would never get waste my time or money on it again. So dissapointing. Our local gas station donuts are 10x better at Quality Dairy.
