I’ve gone to this bakery every since I was a little girl and they never disappoint! They have the best pan dulce in town and their spinach cheese bread is incredible!! Best bakery in GP!!!

If you’re looking for authentic pan dulce, this is the place. The worker’s are friendly and nice. The pastries are amazing. My family has been going here for decades and everything is so good. It’s very clean and they also have snacks and drinks daily.

Lupe is awesome, bread the best in town. Wish the employees were fluent n English so I can order with out just pointing. I really appreciate their smiles and they do get it right.

First time coming to this bakery and my order was the following;
4 medium size vanilla filled churros
2 chocolate covered doughnuts
3 sugar coated doughnuts
3 regular size conchas with sprinkled sugar
2 round slices of what I think its “cortadillo”
2 orejas
The total was $26.73! I couldn’t help myselft with my reaction that it felt awkward for those next to me., anyway I decided to give it a try…perhaps their bread is that good and totally worth the pricey tag!, well it’s not!, even my husband laughed in disbelief when I told him how much I paid. Will gladly make the drive to El Norter Bakery in Oak Cliff or my usual go-to-place Panaderia El Sol in Irving where I also 100% recommend their special occasions cakes that has been down delicious and beautifully made in my past experiences…will do a post about that bakery in a sec showing the cakes they’ve done for me just this year…the one time I decided to try a bakery so close to home and my last.

This is my favorite place to go, once I step in I’m instantly transported to my abuelitas house and I spend alot of money and get too much stuff…..but everything is fantastic there…..I wish I could move in..

This is the best pan dulce I had ever had in my life. The bread is ALWAYS so fresh & so so soft. I especially love the conchas & the danishes. I love that they grab the bread for you, ITS VERY SANITARY. Unlike those other places that let people touch the bread (not sanitary). The customer service is great! The young pretty girl & pretty middle aged lady are so kind, makes me enjoying my trip to La Tapatia Bakery. I will forever be a customer here. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BAKERY!

I’ve been going to this bakery since I was in elementary school. Since they had the first location. I love the bread, you can’t find bread this good any where else. I use to hate conchas until I tried theres . They are so light and fluffy. I love the empanadas de pina y las rebanadas ! This place is the best. Keep up the good work!
