Kroger Reviews

The employees are super kind and helpful and they have food for good prices but I had a bad experience with their pharmacy. On the drive up pharmacy and inside the store the pharmacy hours say 8-8pm we came at 7pm and it was closed. So instead can y’all put 7 for closing instead of 8? Other then that everything is great

This business locks its doors early, during hours of operation, and refuses to let anyone inside so they can get everyone (customers) out before it closes. This is a safety hazard and it’s also illegal to deny entry during posted hours of operation.

Every other buisness advises customers of their closing time when they enter before closing. They let you know on the paging system as well. Not this Kroger.

I asked a cashier tonight after filing a complaint last week, which was never responded too, if they still lock the doors before they close and she said yes.

This is unacceptable and unprofessional.

Pros: Prices are fair.
Some employees have great attitudes and willingness to help.
Shelf space for a large variety of products with lots of selections.
Easily accessible.
Cons: Some employees have terrible attitudes and can be rude.
Frequently out of stock on numerous items.
Lack of employee training leads to mistakes in pricing and a need
to corroborate with superiors for the simplest of customer
assistance.

I recently purchased a mis-marked item from the meat dept. and asked for a re-weigh and adjustment. Originally charged $16.47 for the item, the re-weigh proved it should only have cost 9.33. (Photos attached). Once I took it back to customer service with the corrected amount, Robin tried to be very patient. I have to hand her that. But finally got frustrated when I didn’t have my Kroger card on me and was searching for the number in my phone. She said, “I didn’t think it was going to take this long. I’ll just give you one.” As it turns out, she STILL didn’t get the refund right. What should have been a 7.14 refund was only 5.94. Common core math, I guess.

I am so tired of coming in this store, today I read the prices where things were and they were just the wrong item placed in wrong spot by bulk. I had to run all the way back to produce because potatoes by bulk were placed in wrong spot and store employee refused to change the price or go do price check. I go to get On The Border chips that also were in wrong place by the bulk but were a different price. It’s not the customer’s job to make sure items are in right spot or tagged for right price, but we get penalized for it. I do reviews on store a lot and it’s getting sad.

Courtesy desk closed over 20 min. No one to help with my lottery card just got sold to me. Asked how long and no one knows how much longer.

Great Kroger location. The layout and interior design is a little dated. It’s not one of the newer remodeled stores, but that is fine with me. The employees are great. On every visit I have made the employees are always helpful and have a smile. This location is always clean and we’ll stocked. I have no problem recommending anyone looking for a grocery store that is local to this Kroger.

My wife and I placed an online order and showed up for pickup at around 5pm. We called to inform them of the space we were in and within a minute a young man named Travis was at our vehicle with our order. He was VERY polite and helpful. He noticed that in the bags of oranges one of them was looking pretty old. Let me emphasize that he, not us, noticed this. He said, “Oh, that doesn’t look good. Let me go and get you another bag.” He was gone and back within a couple minutes with a new bag of oranges. He thanked us for our order and went back inside. It’s so nice to see a young man with that kind of respect and professionalism working with the public and for a grocery store that we patronize all the time. Thank you Kroger and thank you Travis!

Customer service is everything and it seems to be the things most people lack today working in stores like these. I will not be back to this kroger.

This Kroger’s is setting is items in the wrong spot and then when you go buy it it’s something else you’re not giving you what the price said on the Shelf

9 times out of 10, if your pickup order lists some of your items out of stock, you can go inside and find either the exact item or a very adequate substitute-which is rich, because even if you have substitutes enabled on your order, 9 times out of 10, they won’t offer it. Having to go into the store to compete a pickup order yourself is a hazard during covid. Speaking of that, why play a message over the speakers that states “all vaccinated customers must wear a mask”? Shouldn’t all customers, especially the unvaccinated, be masked inside the store? Would love if these issues could be resolved. I’m a long time customer here and prefer the selection of items and prices to other grocery stores.
