Krispy Kreme Reviews

Nothing is more frustrating than skipping the long drive thru line, park, drag the kids out of the car, then find out the doors are locked. No visible sign on the door advising the lobby is closed and to join the long line. ‍♀️ it was 15 minutes to go thru the line, but with kids you can’t back out donuts were hot and steamy so there’s the 3 stars!

We stopped here on our way home from IL to PA. Since we Don’t have a Krispy kreme in our neck of the PA woods, we always enjoy visiting a KK store. This location was clean, spacious, and had a nice variety of doughnuts. However, we had to yell over the Excessively Loud Music playing throughout the entire store and we had to ask the counter worker to repeat themselves because we could not hear anything with the Loud music!!

I gave you guys four stars, because you guys are my favorite drive thru chain and we love your donuts. I feel like this would have been lower if not for that. We love the hot and fresh donuts, but today they weren’t hot. I had to microwave them for the kids. The lobby was locked. So, we couldn’t pick them out. I still recommend them. Just keep it fresh guys. The donuts were great, but better fresh.

I’ll start with the good news. The donuts are excellent.

Their website is atrocious. When attempting to customize a dozen donuts, scrolling can initiate a page refresh, which removes all previous selections. Attempting to see all selections in the box will leave you with a close button that removes all selections. Instead of having options to view/hide selections, they give a nice ‘Start Over’ button for all the folks that like to start adding donuts and then remove them all, just in case the page refresh or box closing functionality didn’t already empty your box for you.

As for the customer service, I attempted to go back to the store to claim some donuts that seemed to be erroneously put into the box by mistake. I was told that the baker didn’t put the markings on the donut that denote the filling, and that I should go back home and have the person bite into them to see if it was just a case of missing markings… (Diesel isn’t exactly cheap these days, but feel free to suggest I that I should break open every donut in the box to confirm what I’m getting every time I make a purchase, without offering any sort of compensation for your mistake that cost me additional money…)

The donuts are great, but they have room for improvement as a business.

This place is basically the donut god. If you haven’t tried them you have been greatly missing out. Nice airy donuts , never hard or dense. Their original glazed literally melt in your mouth. Other places I’m lucky to finish a whole donut. Here I can wipe out half a dozen original with such ease and I’m not even ashamed.
Their frozen coffee drinks, OMG they actually taste like coffee whereas other places they just taste like coffee creamer.
They usually have a seasonal donut. And we love to grab the mini ones for our young kids.
I have not had anything here that I didn’t love.

Love their jelly and vanilla cream donuts. Can’t believe they don’t have the jelly donuts without the white ice cream on top. And you need to make a few more so you have them after 7:00 on Fridays

The days of hot fresh donuts are gone. I actually purchased donuts that tasted like they had been frozen the thawed and were ice cold. You can get the same quality stale donuts at any local gas station. Don’t go out of your way thinking you’re going to get something special, waste of time.

The last 3 times we’ve gone to the Hilliard-Rome Rd Krispy Kreme the lobby is closed. I purchase 3-12 dozen donuts per visit for employees & businesses & it is BEYOND a pain to have to place an order at the drive thru. Not able to look at what they have and working with a very impatient, hard to hear attendant doesn’t help any. I don’t understand why one employee cannot work at the counter during normal business hours especially when there appear to be more than enough employees there to do so. All I can say is thatDunkin Donuts and Tom Horton’s have to be celebrating the fall of Krispy Kreme.

Lights are on but nobody’s home. Went to get doughnuts on way to work. Lights are on but no workers. No hours posted. No idea when or if they are open. Maybe the store is shut down indefinitely due to covid, don’t know, can’t tell you since they give you no information.

Went before 7am, on a weekday, and they were out of glazed and a few other kinds of donuts. Ordered an iced coffee and got a hot one. Not impressed.
