Hurts Donut Reviews

Open 24/7 say no more. The long John I got didn’t have any filling in it. I’m not sure if it was a mistake or they just don’t add filling here. The donuts were pretty good considering I went around midnight. Not super fresh but I can’t complain. The store itself is really cool. I’ll definitely return to try some more items.

Tried for the first time but this will be my favorite donut place for us and kids will be having different funny options…our fav is the cookie monster and couldnt stop myself in trying all my kid brought…Also the ambience couldnt stop in taking couple more pictures around…!
so lets say “ Wanna Hurts Donut?”

If you’re looking for a wide variety of specialty donuts, Hurts is your place. However, expect to pay lots of money $$. Donuts are $2 for regular $3 for speciality each (honestly not sure what the difference is.) Anything else (maple bar, cinnamon roll, bear claw) are even more per donut. The glazed donuts are $1.50 each but are ALWAYS sold out. We ordered this box below and it was $10 total.

I’ve been multiple times (like 8) at all times of day. Stuff is always sold out (especially glazed) no matter the time – also no matter what they say about their “baking schedule.” Don’t get attached to one donut because chances are it won’t be there the next time you go.

The regular donuts are better than the cake donuts. Also, most of the donuts are taste literally the same, just with very slight variances on topping. Not sure it’s worth the money.

I love donuts, and I love to get donuts at Hurts Donuts. The staff is incredibly friendly, the atmosphere is inviting and modern. I like the assortment of donuts and styles of their special donuts. My favorite donuts at this location are the red velvet and chocolate donuts. Definitely a recommended place to go.

First and foremost, this place is open 24 hours. So if I wake up at 2:00 am and have a wild craving for a doughnut, I can get one. THAT is freedom. America at its finest. The doughnuts themselves are excellent. The prices are super low compared to what I’m used to (from Colorado). The atmosphere is great, similar to if a bunch of snowboarders opened a coffee shop. I felt like we could just chill here for hours. Next time I have to do a lot of work on my computer I’m gonna do it here. This place has the trifecta of what makes a perfect doughnut shop; atmosphere, price, and of course , taste. Love it!

Gluten free-ish Chocolate peanut and birthday cake.
Delicious, and they didn’t bother me at all.
Cannot recommend for those with cross contamination worries. But I loved them!

This place is open all the time and the donuts are fun and delicious!!

Good place and well maintained. They have good options including GF donuts on Monday’s and Tuesday’s. They are open 24/7.

It’s a 24/7 shop. I usually stop by at least twice a month on different weekends. However, they were out of glazed donuts on a Sunday, what a shame because they are my favorite and classic.

FYI they have some of these over the top flavored donuts (mostly if you’re facing the counter on the right side) they look really cool but they do lean more towards the thick cake side vs traditional donuts on the left side of the counter.

Pictures are really speak for themselves! Not my first rodeo here but I’ve always wanted to review this place. decadent donuts that you will be coming back for every time you’re around the area. friendly staff and creative array of doughnuts with some ice cold milk and other drinks if you need. My favorite is the maple glazed long boi. Definitely one of the best dessert shop in the north of the metroplex!

Update: thank you for explaining. I empathize and appreciate the challenges in this current workforce environment. While it was frustrating experience for me, I do appreciate the explanation and offer. Most folks don’t take the time to explain. Changed review rating.

Called earlier to see if they had Gluten free donuts available today. My daughters birthday is tomorrow and she asked for the donuts first thing in the morning. We were told they had the donuts and they’d be here all night (open 24/7). I drive the 20 miles, arrive at 10pm to a locked door and workers inside shaking their head ‘no’ at me. Online says 24/7. Employee on phone said 24/7. Heck, the windows says “25 hours a day, 8 days a week” (picture attached). Extremely frustrating that I see 24/7 at every turn and then find a locked door.
