This is one of my favorite coffee shops I have ever been to. Simple menu that has everything you’d expect at a standard coffee shop. But they also have brewed to order iced pour over with multiple origins of coffee available. Both savory and sweet baked goods that we tried were all very tasty as well.

So happy to have found this very Chuc coffee house with a varied menu that serves bowls, eggs, smoothies and baked on sight breakfast breads and cookies. Parking was easy on Sunday morning. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Great stop!

Really great breakfast spot. Although not on the drink menu they do make a great caramel macchiato. The Ozzy breakfast bowl was great too.

Wonderful place for a good feed or to relax with coffee by yourself or meet with someone. I had the most perfect poached egg EVER with a rice bowl. I have dreams about it. The pastries and muffins are YUM with very very good vegan options. HIGHLY recommend this spot!

I walked here from my hotel and it was a really nice walk, but thats not the point. This little coffee shop is really enjoyable. The environment is up beat and the art on the walks was very energetic. The food was good and they had SO many options for drinks and juice as well. The kombucha options were very vast. Check them out!!

Went in for a quick bite & was greeted by two very sweet baristas, had a chicken club that was more like a beautiful harmonious recreation of heaven on earth. Props to everyone there, seems like a very chill spot.

Favorite coffee shop in the city. Never had anything bad or bad service. Always friendly and the food is excellent.

Was finally able to stop in this afternoon while shopping on Magazine. I was excited that there was plenty of free parking in the area. The space is lovely. Staff was polite and friendly. The matcha latte with almond milk was delicious. Will definitely be back!

We visited High Volt Coffee on the way to a tour of the Garden District. It’s a great spot with lots of options of people with all kinds of dietary needs (vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free etc.)

I love a good quiche and unfortunately when we arrived, although there were plenty of quiche options, none of them were vegetarian. I opted for the veggie frittata served with kefir yogurt. This looked really cool in the display case of the items made today, kind of a mini crustless quiche. (see I was in a quiche mood…) It was okay but not amazing.

I also had a peach ginger muffin which was super dense, without a lot of peach in it, and no discernible ginger taste. In retrospect I should have gone with the “morning glory”…everything in their display case looked amazing.

My wife had the Ozzy which is two poached eggs on sautéed greens, avocado, grape tomato and quinoa, also with the kefir dressing. She loved this meal.

She also treated herself to a vegan raw brownie…a very sweet and awesome, date-sweetened and super rich. (in a delicious manner). She couldn’t finish it but was happy to carry it around the rest of the day and finish it in a glorious second round.

There are plenty of vegan and gluten free choices.

Also lots of coffee choices too. You have to love when a breakfast-centric place takes its coffee seriously. I got the American Rosales Pour-over. It was surprisingly smooth and bold.

Although I would have loved a vegetarian quiche choice, I’d definitely go back, when in New Orleans, to have more coffee and sample more from their drool-inducing same day baked display cabinet.
