5/31/2022 = 3 Star = it used to be Donut and Chinese Food , we really like this store before and we thought that they doing renovation but looks like it’s changing name too, i give 3 star coz it’s taking so long to open, once done we will try it and will see if will add or will minus the stars.

I want to start off by mentioning that I’ve been going to this place since before they revamped it. I have worked in the area for 2 years and have always gone to get Chinese Food there. That is to say that for me, the highlight of this place was ultimately the Chinese food so I might be a little biased.

That being said, I have gone 2 times since they opened, once through the drive thru and the other in person, today actually (7/11/22). The donuts at this place are your average donuts, I want to be very honest, there is nothing that really makes them stand out from the rest. They made it look really nice, but a nice place with mediocre food will not bring in customers. They did add Mochi Donuts which were good, mushy like a Mochi, the flavors were good. The only reason that for me Mochi Donuts isn’t groundbreaking is that the people purchasing donuts here are probably small businesses in the area ordering a dozen generic donuts for their employees. I wouldn’t go in for Mochi Donuts.

The employees also mentioned that they want to bring sandwiches into the menu which is alright but I think, if latinos want a sandwich, we’ll just get a torta and there are plenty of taco trucks driving around in the area. The demographic in the area is highly Hispanic concentrated. The employees also mentioned that people are constantly coming in to ask about the Chinese food, in numbers(SAME!!).

Hello Donuts has the potential to become great, if they bring back what the community really loved which was a tasty morning treat of donuts and a wonderful afternoon meal of Chinese food. The new look makes it look modern and simple but the new selection… or should I say lack there of, has really made this place one more donut shop in a sea of so many and with the creativity and unique-ness of so many of the donut shops around, what will make this place tower over the rest except for their magnificently and beautifully crafted Chinese food.

First of all, the donuts are above average. They are tasty! The mochi donuts are really good too! Latinos listen up…they make Horchata…the way it is suppose to taste like…with canela (cinnamon) not like other hispanic stores that is all watered down. This place has really good potential to be the stop! Stop asking for Chinese food folks! Get donuts, will try the other drinks too! Oh by the way the drinks are served like this…NICE!

Such a cool spot! My wife and I just moved into town and finally got a chance to try it. HUGE variety of doughnuts and bagels, sandwiches, juice/milk, and coffee! Would definitely recommend if your in the mood for some breakfast

Donuts are really good, better than other shops around the area. People just need to stop hating and just enjoy a donut lol . Go to the Chinese food place on edinger and harbor if you’re stuck on that.

For those complaining that the price went up at the register, they add $.50 for purchases under $5 with a card. Read the signs. Great pit stop after Planet 13 – they are always kind but selection will vary based on day/time.

LOVE IT! Favorite donut shop now and will be coming often for their mochi donuts and horchata! Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

If I had known it would take 10 minutes to wait in line to get a donut I would not have come. And I never got the donut because they totally ignore the drive through.

I bought an Apple Fritter she told me it was $2.50. I gave her my debit card and when I checked my statement today they charged me $3. I’m never going back there again.

Brittany Perry

Great donuts and great cold brew. I will definitely be back.
