Delicious place to go to for breakfast. Very, very few places both open as early as 6AM and are worth going early for. The maple glazed old fashioned was nothing special, but a solid bite. The buttermilk biscuits with jam is the hidden gem. The breakfast brioche is average and has a fatty texture to it.

I really enjoyed the donuts from Half and Half, I would recommend them even if they’re on the road pricier side. I personally really like the Mexican chocolate original and the pineapple fritter most but the chocolate hazelnut donut was also pretty good. The filling wasn’t that sweet, which is what I really liked about this place. The dragon fruit one wasn’t my favorite but if you like sweets I think you might like it. I personally don’t love the tea here, they could have a better selection but what can you do? Seattle is a coffee city.

Loved it. The donuts were fantastic. Lots of great selection. Some of the best donuts I have had. Everyone loved there’s. The store is really cool inside. They have these wood paneled espresso machines that look awesome. Location is great to sit out on the street and enjoy your donuts. If you drive a lot of parking is close by. Staff is amazing as well. Very friendly. Overall great experience.

This was my second time here but last time we got just some breakfast sandwiches which I remember were okay. This time we took a plain vanilla which was not that good to be honest. Left a lingering feeling of oil(or some fat used to make the doughnut) in my mouth. The lemon glaze was better and we also took the maple bar which was the best among the three we took. We took a cappuccino as well which was pretty good.

Fun flavors in different shapes and sizes. The dough is fluffy and the flavors are unique. I am a big fan of the passionfruit and bananas foster. They have some traditional flavors like chocolate and plain, but the fun ones are the best part. Its more spendy than top pot or QFC donuts, but thats because its unique and tasty. Staff were friendly and was in and out quickly.

My favorite donut spot in Seattle! Unique and handmade, delicious and filling! I come back every few weeks to try a new flavor, as they always have new and fun old fashion donuts. The savory biscuit is easily my favorite thing ever, it’s perfect for breakfast on the go! The breakfast sandwiches are super filling and heavy on the butter, which is fantastic, but it’s a little heavy. And you have to get the coffee!

This little doughnut shop on Pike St makes some beautiful and fun donuts, although a bit on the pricy side. The bomba/bombs filled with caramel espresso creme was outstanding!
They open super early every day (at 6am) which is awesome. I often see people having coffee and donuts in front of the store in an otherwise empty street during early mornings.

A little known secret about me is I’m obsessed with donuts. I really really enjoy them and I would eat them everyday if I could without consequence. Half and Half Doughnut Co has been on my list of donut shops here in Seattle to try. We happen to walk in right as they put a nice row of fresh glazed raspberry old fashions on the shelf, so I had to order one of those. I also ordered a black and white chocolate donut and a cream filled donut as seen in the pictures.

The women working the counter was extremely nice and provided great service. She was kind enough to warn me that the raspberry old fashion was just glazed and might be very messy. The box they use for the donuts was a perfect sized box for 3-4 and was decently durable.

Now for the taste test. The donuts were all good, the raspberry was sweet and the glaze was practically melting off because of how fresh. The black and white was a solid choice and a very classic taste. The cream filled I didn’t care much for but my wife loved it. The reason I rate 4/5 is because I have an ongoing debate about donuts here in Seattle….most of them taste the same. They are not ever really soft and are all neutral between firm/hard. I prefer softer donuts. I won’t drop other donut shop names as comparisons because I want you all to try all the shops yourself.

But hey!! They are really good donuts. If you have a craving I would recommend this shop to you. -Colter

Get the Banana Foster!! It’s my favorite and go-to every time! The filling is to-die-for~

The pineapple fritter is interesting, but in the acidic side. The old-fashioned ones are too sweet for my taste.

We enjoyed our little visit here. The flavours and textures were different, and delicious, not just different for novelty.

The tiny window facing bar is a nice touch to take a seat. Some outdoor seating too but it’s metal so bring some warmer pants as the days get chillier!
