Craving something sweet but have a gluten or dairy intolerance? Or maybe you’re vegan? Look no further, for Goldenrod is here to deliver some of the best pastries I’ve ever tasted, and somehow still keeping most of them completely gluten and dairy free! The shop is super cute, the staff is really nice and you can try anything in their pasty case and fall in love with it instantly. I definitely recommend any of the cookie sandwiches which are a hit with everyone from my grandma to my four-year-old niece. This pastry shop is definitely worth a stop.

Goldenrod made my daughter’s first birthday cake, and it was so delicious. I sent them three different pictures on what I wanted the cake to look like, and they found the perfect combination.
It was delicious, moist, and the frosting was unbelievable!
The best part was how friendly the staff was and how easy it was to communicate with them.

Really fun little place to stop for a treat if you’re in the area (or even if you’re not close). Great macaroons with rotating flavors. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great atmosphere but not a ton of seating/standing space. Overall great experience, and we will be coming back!

Goldenrod did our wedding cake. Not only was it beautiful, but it was so delicious and they accommodated for allergies in our group flawlessly! They were fantastic from the initial tasting to the design to picking up the cake. Highly recommend!

My wife and I went here for the first time last weekend.
I got the strawberry lemonade cookie and she got the pink champagne cake.
The cookies themselves were flavorless. The texture was fine I guess, but absolutely zero flavor and near zero sweetness. Very disappointing there. The filling was pretty good at least.
The cake was kind of gritty, dry, and not nearly as flavorful as we had hoped. Not terrible, but definitely not worth buying again.
I’m not familiar with how difficult gluten free baking is, and am being transparent by saying I’m comparing to what I would expect from a normal baked good. Perhaps this style of baking is much harder?
In any case, I’m in no rush to return, which is a shame because it has so many great reviews. Perhaps I got a bad batch?

I had two custom cake orders that I picked up in a two week period last month from Goldenrod Pastries. I had purchased a cake from them a couple of years ago and have been a big fan of their cookbook, so I knew I couldn’t go wrong.
They absolutely knocked it out of the park! I gave a general description of what I was hoping for with each cake and let them take it from there and was not disappointed! Both cakes were absolutely beautiful and delicious!!
Their team, storefront, treats, and design skills are completely unmatched!

So good!!! We love the macaroon’s here and the other pastries are just as amazing. We love to make a stop after the farmer’s markets on sunday. The expansion is SO cool we love the kitchen shop and the things they sell there are so interesting and different we love it!! Can’t wait to come back and shop some more. We love how accommodating they are for different food allergies and preferences. Will be getting our cakes from here from now on.

This place is honestly amazing. I have to eat gluten free and this place has a great variety with good prices and everything is actually safe! Everything in the picture is gluten free! The macarons are my favorite and the cake is a close second

I love this place! While they are mostly gluten free, I go there for their vegan options. I have had their cinnamon rolls (even my non-vegan bf loved it), brownies & chocolate cupcakes. All delicious! If you have the cupcake by itself, yes, you can tell it isnt a “normal” cupcake but oh my gosh the frosting is soooooo good.
