General Porpoise Reviews

Wow! I’m usually not a fan of filled donuts but their vanilla custard was to die for. Not only was the filling good though, what made it really special was the donut itself. Best donut I’ve ever had. Nicely sweet, satisfyingly fluffy, and you can tell it’s a quality donut. Can’t wait to have more!

Good, not the best I’ve had. Generally underwhelming for the cost. Donuts were fluffy and had a good amount of filling but it would be great to have different styles.

First time at this location and the two dudes at the counter were great! During Covid, it’s a scary time to try anything new but these guys handled it with ease (and sanitation). Gloves, mask and lots of distance being practiced here and I really appreciated it! Happy to support a local business and it happened to be delicious (I got the chocolate marshmallow one). Thank you!

It’s an exclusive shop for donuts. The main difference is the shape of doughnut. The concept of the word is changed, no hole on this so called doughnut , taste of the filling is the attraction.

These are very close to being great doughnuts. They’re buttery and rich…To a fault. It tastes like biting into a salty block of butter. Butter makes delicious pastries, but this is overboard. If they dialed it back, they could be gourmet.

The customer service was off; I didn’t feel very welcomed by the staff when I entered. The doughnut was flavorful, but not for a 5-dollar premium. I also ordered a chai latte that was majority milk and lacked a chai flavor. I would recommend against patronage at this establishment.

$5 for a donut but worth it! I particularly like their fruity jam flavors, and when those are out, the chocolate marshmallow is good too! My favorite part of it is the soft dough of the donut, and sometimes I wish they would do ones without the filling in them because it’s just that good.

Delicious doughnuts of the raised, filled variety. Coffee is yummy, although I believe the beans/roasters are rotating. Beautiful interior. They do sell out some days and prices are a little on the steeper side, but a portion of sales goes to local charities.

Nothing here if you’re keto, nothing but delicious doughnuts, soy and oat milks, and homemade brown sugar syrups…but seriously, if you add almond milk or something then I won’t get nagged at by my keto kid.

One of my favorite donut and coffee shops in Seattle, went to the Capitol Hill location couple years ago. This place was clean simple. No dine in and the donut flavors were amazing, wasn’t too sweet at all! The size was pretty good for the price too! Parking is kinda of hard to find but so far I was able to find street parking on two occasion.
