Garden of the Gods Market and Cafe Reviews

Pretty decent place – well rounded with all of their selections. Modern clean atmosphere. Food was good, just not legendary. Worthy brunch drinks. Bakery items were excellent. Vegetarian and vegan options labeled, but not plentiful. Plate sizes vary. Do expect to wait for seating, indoor or out. Sunday brunch was about a 30 min wait for table of 4.

Awesome breakfast spot! On the advice of our excellent server, Becca, I ordered a half order of the Mountain Man Hash and a half of the Pumpkin Bread French Toast. So yummy, both of them. Loved the attractive, up-to-date furnishings yet with a casual, comfy style. This place is a definite keeper for me. I will be back to try lunch (and dinner) as well. And will ask to be seated at one of Becca’s tables!

My favorite food so far in this trip. The corn beef hash was heavenly. With every bite I was making noises on how good it was. My husband told me to shut a few times… but every taste was better then the last. I can’t explain it… so make sure to try it out. The green goddess drink was also amazing and the right veggie and fruit serving to accompany the corn beef hash. My husband ordered something else that I can’t remember because the corn beef hash totally made me forget it. I will say that the honey chai was also a hit! A must try when you visit. Also they have a market. Lots of local items and pastries 🙂

I used to “like grilled cheese”, but it wasn’t something I would order over anything else. Today I decided to be “adventurous” (with one of the most well known comfort foods known to man) and try theirs- and this is the first one I have ever loved. I love sourdough, the soup was the perfect temperature, the cheese combinations were perfect and stayed nice the whole meal. The crust on the bread was also excellent. Their menu is huge, and they offer a wine and charcuterie event at 1500 and a beautiful dinner menu in the evening. It would take me several weeks to go through everything. It is on the pricier side, about $20-30 a person if you get a drink with you meal. But a great atmosphere, bakery selection, and more.

Had a craving for shrimp and grits and was told about this place which I never been. Well it’s cute if you figure out how to get inside so make sure to go inside the patio area. I didn’t stay I was just doing to go order. Got the shrimp and grits great flavor, wasn’t a fan of the tomatoes in it, and a little to loose the grits were, but the flavor still put a party in my mouth. I also got eggs Benedict which was pretty good too still deciding if the spinach paired well in it????? I couldn’t complain about the price but …..everyone’s price went up.

Came here for breakfast and we were extremey happy with our decision! Just excellent food, atmosphere, and service all around. Unbelievably delicious honey chai – would totally recommend getting it iced, and I also got a honey chai with espresso in it and I was in love. Also should mention the iced tea was top notch! The food is delicious – everything we got was wonderful. The pancake was a little too sweet for me, but my boyfriend devoured it haha. It would be great to share as a dessert too. Our server, who was also the bartender, was incredibly kind and attentive.

Went there for lunch and had a salad (had almonds and blueberries and blue cheese, cannot remember the name) and my friend had the BLT. Service was great, food was great, but unfortunately the desserts were a bust 🙁 Not very flavorful and coconut cake was very dry. Would definitely eat there again though w/o dessert 🙂

Perfect spot for brunch! There were so many options for drinks and food, and it was all delicious! We ordered the breakfast burger and BLTA. The fruit alone was mouthwatering — fresh and sweet. We will be stopping by the next time we pass through!

This place is great. It’s one of those bougie places, but without being pretentious. The prices are kinda high, but the food is mostly awesome. Although I personally did not at all care for their green chili, my partner loved it. (I grew up eating it, she’s from Kentucky). The BLTA sandwich at $16 was big enough for us to split. The real gem at this place was our server, what a joy she was.
