I absolutely love this place. There’s a certain feeling you want when entering a donut shop that Fresh Donuts embodies. It’s a small, clean, spartan space that is tailor made for an entire donut experience. I don’t want a fancy bakery when I get donuts. I want the essentials and a case of fried rings of dough. Simple. My favorite has always and will always be the chocolate cake. The blueberry glazed is also incredible and just about anything on the menu will make your day. The customer service is amazing and the two or three employees not only crank through the line in exponential fashion, but simultaneously make donuts in the process. It’s impressive. A well oiled and delicious machine. Go now.

Totally picky about donuts, and this OG spot hits the spot EVERY. TIME. Whenever we are in the area, this place is a MUST STOP. When family comes to visit, we take them here. Never disappoints. EVER.
My favorite donuts here are the blueberry glazed, and their apple fritter! The blueberry glaze is OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. One-of-a-kind donut – they are known for this donut. Apple fritter – let’s just say I’ve never been an apple fritter fan – until I sank my teeth into theirs. If you time it right, and they are just straight out of the oven – it’s HEAVEN in your mouth.
Love this mom-and-pop joint, and I wish they would open a location in Utah County – I can dream, right? =)

Hear me when I say these were the best donuts I’ve ever had! They were still warm when we bought them – which makes a big difference – but even later in the day were so delightful. Hard to describe, but they had a very light, crisp bite, then super fluffy yet doughy on the inside. …it’s probably better if you just try for yourself!!

So I really want to like this place, but my donuts were super greasy. I think their oil wasn’t hot enough and soaked into the coming dough. In fact, there was a grease ring on the inside of the donuts when I cut them open.
That being said, I could tell the flavors were good. I love apple fritters, and had it been cooked the way it’s supposed to be, it would have been awesome. The glazed donuts were warm and my favorite of the bunch. Do not get the buttermilk bar, it tasted terrible, dry, and had an awful aftertaste.
I’d like to try again. Definitely potential for the stellar reviews, but maybe I just showed up on a bad morning.

10/10 the best donut shop ever. The owners get in super early, my schedule is opposite most and so I often drive by and can see them at work even at 430am making those bomb donuts. They have a great selection and even make sandwiches. The price for the donuts is awesome too. I love their donut holes and sugar donuts, they are so delicious.

Love this place. The blueberry glaze donut is by far my favorite. I haven’t tasted dough this good anywhere else. Their deli sandwiches are also delicious and a great deal.

My dad said growing up in Salt Lake, these were the best donuts. I love all donuts so it’s hard for me to say one is better than the other. But this place is PRETTY good. Comparable to a lot of donut places around. I wouldn’t drive an hour for this place but if I’m driving by, yeah I’m going to stop in and get a great tasting donut

My favorite bakery anywhere. Everything they make is great but the blueberry glazed are the best. They wrap up kind of early so don’t plan on going there at 2pm to get a dozen or you might be disappointed. Everyone working there is very nice, I hope they’re around forever. I got a dozen today with a bunch of fancy kinds mixed in and it was $18 even. Worth every penny.

These are the absolute best donuts. There is always a line out the door and they sell out pretty consistently.
These donuts are very light with the slightest bit of crisp when you buy them fresh. They’re still great the next day if you heat them up in the microwave for a few seconds.
They’re also not overly sweet. They have great maple (or other) taste without the heavy sugar.
