Gave this place only four stars. Very clean and the staff is very courteous. In addition, the donuts were super delicious. The reason I gave them four stars instead of five is because there really is no signage for wheelchair access. If you are in a chair or scooter you have to go through the hotel / condominium building in the front go past the mailboxes to a door inside the building to get into the restaurant. There is no sign that says that there and you have to ring for someone to let you into the building. The main entrance is all steps and is located on the side of the building. Although, I hear a number of the Federal Donuts are not wheelchair accessible. This one is it’s just a little tricky to get to it. Overall good experience!

I like this place. Yesterday, I drove by it, and was determined to come back for breakfast. It looked like a place with cool donuts.

I saw the menu online and really wanted to try the chicken sandwich, but unfortunately, they had just sold the last one, when I arrived. A food delivery was on the way, but delayed. So, I decided to just wait it out, despite the hunger.

After sitting for a little while, my stomach said, “Feed. Me. Now. Sir!!” So, I gave in, and ordered: Dry rub wings, with the coffee-bbq sauce on the side, a Donut Latte, and a “Churro” donut.

Immediately, I knew the wings would be great just by the way they looked. I’m an experienced wing connoisseur, that recently returned from a mostly plant-based diet. I can look at wings and know how good they are.

These dry rub wings were really good!! The coffee-bbq sauce complimented them quite well too. The only thing that sucks is that there were only 6. You have to eat them slowly, or they’ll vanish so quickly. Well worth the price though.

The donut was good, but a little bit sweeter than I expected.

I enjoyed the Donut Latte. It’s a cinnamony-type flavor if you’re into that. The latte paired with the sweetness of the donut, which happened to work well.

The staff was nice, and helped with understanding the ingredients in everything.

The guy comp’d my order too, because of my willingness to wait around for that chicken sandwich. I’m grateful for that.

I would’ve left this review even if I paid for my food, just based on the wings. I still want that chicken sandwich, so I’ll be back at some point.

Simple selection of gourmet donuts. I got a blueberry donut which was pretty good – I like cake donuts over glazed.

The place was nice. Bit pricy for the size of the donut but I guess not unexpected.

Donuts were fantastic. Big fans of the Blueberry Vanilla Bean and the Lemon Ricotta. The cake batter of the donuts is truly spectacular. The Sticky Toffee Banana donut was delicious as well. Would love to come back and review them warm! We also got the chicken sandwich which was pretty dang good for a donut place. Highly recommend Federal Donuts! Wow, Never had donuts this good. Donuts are soft and will make you fall in love with first bite.

Fancy donuts are pretty good so are regular donuts. I still can’t believe we finished half a dozen donuts so fast. Chicken wings and Chicken sandwich are quite delicious and totally worth a try. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back and try few more flavors.

UPDATE: I’ve been getting federal’s bacon sandwich for years and despite being a bit overpriced, it’s been consistently tasty. The one I got this morning had barely any of the salsa topping and a half a slice of bacon. Again, my $7 sandwich had a half of a slice of bacon and the salsa only made it into two bites. I got 2 bites of the complete sandwich, and the rest was plain egg and cheese on a slider bun. I noticed a few people have been disappointed in similar ways so maybe they’re just going through staffing challenges like I am, but for that price I was not happy at all.

ORIGINAL: Pleasant surprise seeing this Federal Donuts while I was deciding what to get for breakfast. Love their bacon sandwich and classic donuts. Good luck & welcome to the neighborhood.

We visited the place for donuts at 2pm, and they had plenty. After we ordered a dozen in total between the 6 of us we realized that donuts were not fresh. All of them were very stale and chewy. On top of that the custard on top of my donut was flavorless. I mean, it is really not that hard to have a vanilla-flavored custard. I payed $15 for half a dozen donuts that we ended up not eating and I leave this place unhappy. Why sell stale donuts?

On their social media they advertise that their donuts are fresh and made to order but they are not. They need better QC, otherwise with their vfm ratio they will go out of business pretty soon.

Great fried chicken wings. Piping hot! The chicken sandwich was good – not the best I’ve eaten, but very meaty. I removed the cheese since it didn’t blend as well.

Donuts are great. Glazed was very well done.

Coffee is decent. They didn’t have the Vietnamese iced coffee which was a shame.

The staff was warm and so were the donuts. I’m not a huge fan of cake donuts, but even through that lens, I just wasn’t a fan. Flavor and consistency weren’t distinguishable from a grocery store donut. Decent prices and selection.

Staff is awesome- friendly and fast. Donuts are amazing as usual. The chicken sandwich I got was gristley and not good at all. I threw half of it out because it ruined my appetite and I hate wasting food. Too expensive, Popeyes is better. I remember loving their chicken sandwich years ago but the last two times I have gotten chicken sandwiches there more recently, the sandwiches have been dry, tough and not appetizing. I’ll stick to their donuts.
